also to clarify since it seems that the last 5 ppl to comment on my post didn't even take the time to really read and figure out what I was trying to say.

I was merely asking Yarr how he's been able to weed out the assholes on our server, or deal with the assholes within his ls, in retrospect it was prolly something that I should've pmed to him, but I figured he's too busy to be able to take the time to read through it all and give me the kind of answer i want. I don't know why I expected that posting publically would either, just that if people related to and understood what I was trying to say then they may have some answers as well, since I can't believe I'm the only person on the server who feels the way i do in regards to this.

Secondly, I don't know why ckd is getting defensive, I wasn't accusing the ls of being greedy in anyway, just asking a lot of vague questions about the quality of ppl on our server and how these people seem to have a change of heart in ckd, but are pricks on their way to ckd. This is my opinion also, so I can say what I like.. it's not fact (and a big reason why I've left specific names out of my posts) I guess assholes are just inevitable when you're stuck with a greater percentage of them to nice and honest folks... welcome to the game imitating reality.

If anything I complimented ckd a few times in my posts as opposed to slamming you guys... read it, all it's in there.

lol... CKD has alot of good players, but give me a break. There are plenty of players on the server who are as good or better then the people in CKD. Jimbean is right when he says you have let alot of shitty players into CKD recently. Now maybe you made them better and that's good. I do wonder how you get past all the petty bullshit and greed.

It's just funny that you think CKD is the elite 2% of the Server and nobody else is a good. There are plenty of great players out there NOT in CKD.

But I don't think this is a very real fight or discussion worth getting upset about. In the end its all linkshells, which are all just means of sending group tells instead of regular /tells.

I'm not a member of CKD, but if i fealt like converstating with one of you, I frankly don't care what position of grandour someone asigns to me or to themself. And I think in the end alot of people have to accept that same philsophy. To me it makes no diffrence if your in TTK, CKD, FS, hokuten, ZS, PEG, silver legion, CoU, suicide kingz, SG, valour, astral flow, smnass, jp linkshell, or whatever, your just a player who started after or at the same time I did, and you play the same game I play. Any other distinctions you may carry for yourself are entirely on you.

All you need to know is that CKD has strict operating rules and is oriented toward doing events within the game. Perhaps petty bullshit and greed is something other LSs have a problem with.

greed has infected like 99% of the server I highly doubt that everyone in ckd is completely free of greed and jealousy... and just pass on stuff for ppl who've been there longer of their own free will and don't desire anything, otherwise you'd never go camp anything, and you'd never post on your boards saying you got something. I base my judgments on my experience with ppl on server regardless of their ls, but I don't notice too many ppl leaving ckd because someone got a byakkos haidate before them for example.. why? Or maybe it's just not disclosed to the public when shit like that happens.. people love gossip tho and so keeping something like that hush requires a lot of effort, more than it's worth i'd say. must just be the status of the yellow pearl it is mesemerizing like a blow job from an extremely hot chick.

it's cool i think i figured it out anyway.. it's the people that you have in the LS that actually want to see the LS work/grow instead of just themselves, and that is due to the core group being close friends who "grew up" together (in a sense: meaning they had to rely on eachother for help a lot, especially during their first few weeks-months of playing). This core group is probably really tight and doesn't tolerate crap like people pissing and whining and that core equates to keeping the whole ls in check not just yarr.

Just sucks now tho because anyone with a credit card can buy gil and a second computer and have all the strats to everything and pay for the help they need to get them through the game. The old notion of one for all and all for one that may have been present on a lot of older mmorpgs where there was a sort of unspoken rules of conduct and respect that all players were to adhere to or they got shunned has been dissolved.

Everyone wants to be the next hotshot now and finding a really tight core that will truly care about you as opposed to just themselves is rough. it's suprising that such a powerful group was built on such a foundation.. yet all these ppl playing the game have great aspirations and miss this little key element... pity

If anyone ever told you an LS, including our own, was devoid of any drama, they'd be lying to you. That said, I must say it seems like CKD handles it a lot better compared to the stuff i "hear" about what happens in some other LS; with people constantly leaving, starting up their own LS, stealing items and quitting, etc.

Here people just have a cry about something, then next day it's like "Whatever, old news, lets just go camp Fafnir", lol.

As for greed... People in CKD pass a lot of crap for me. M. Abj body drops, and none of the other PLD present lot it at all. They don't even joke lot, they just congratulate me and pass it, without any provokation. That takes a hell of a lot of will power.

ckd and ckdy has helped push me and tal with this relic upgrade. Seriously we may not be perfect. But thats clearly not greed right there.
