Well... for me this is the closure to something that started out as the coolest shit since rice, became a place to hang with my friends after work, turned into an obession, and finally became just another part of my life.
I would like to say that alot of people have given me food for thought over the time I spent playing this game. And I would like to say also that although I had fights with people sometimes in the game or the forums over mundane shit, in the long run you all made it a great time to be had, cause honestly I would have never played this long if the game didn't have some kick ass people to play with and talk about stupid shit when I was drunk/sober at home and bored.
I had alot of fun guys, but as I hit 25 this year, my time becomes more valuable to me. Wasting an hour to play this game could be an hour designing a logo for a guy with money to burn. With the advent of my personal designs getting recognition by some big names like Akon, Pharrell, Block Royal, and the prospects of better business oppurtunities online, well I can't turn that down. The game was fun while it lasted, but now I've gotta toss it for some RL professional stuff.
I've been privy to alot of growth in the game, and some really messed up shit too, but all in all the game rocked. You guys rocked as a gaming community, and I can honestly say I had shit loads of fun and drama when I logged on, and in the end that sort of shit made the 15 bucks or whatever worth it.
I'll probaly be logging on sometime this weekend to send out some of the stuff that my characters had on them, then its delete button for Daedalan. My cousin Kat and Maliris already deleted awile ago and tossed out their equipment to people, so I guess its the last family member's time.
Again, no matter what bullshit I had with anyone, you all made the game worth it, otherwise I would have never played. Have fun, and wish you all luck in your future in-game and out of game endeaveors.
