Isn't this expansion supposed to be solo/low level play anyway, so aren't they all just going to move? Or it'd be great if they split into the Aht Urgan group and the Jeuno group and MPK'd each other to level 4 somehow

Early, early interview Sage Sundi said that the bulk majority of ToA would be solo play and low level solo zones. This latest interview he said just eh opposit, that it will be mostly high level material and the only low level thing to do was to level up a new job. So I'm a little confused. Maybe they changed the zone levles around in the last few months.

I think ToA was originally made to have new Xbox 360 users feel like they were entering something new, and not just joining in the middle of something very old and already past their time. Existing users wanted something to do with all their level 75's that CoP didn't take advantage of. So maybe the design crew decided to side with the vast majority of their users and make it 75 based instead.

They could possibly try to appeal to older users and newer audiences at the same time. omg

I really like Sage Sundi. I remember him from the End Beta event and I got to meet him via PMs when I was a mod for the VN. Hes a really nice guy, but hes really just another showman. He only knows what he is told. he isnt directly involved with development or anything like that. hes just someone hired to interect for the developers who generally have no social skills lol.

That being said, i still dont think Sagi had his information wrong. The development process is is chaotic and things change over night. So many factors go into developing an expansion that its rare to see the end product turn out exactly as it was originally planned.

then again its 5AM and Im ready to pass out lol.

Man what are these new players to do when they start with 100gils and NQ SH is like 15-16mills and HQ now 45-50mills, anyhow noone really needs gils to enjoy the game, after all the most amazing parts are missions and quests and BCNM ENM.Kinda off topic... looks like Bluemage will be Main job based on MP,but Corsair possible could be subjob?Based on the comment about "bad luck" Corsair leaves me to believe that they would put some shitty fun rate for gamble action which would not surprise me coming from SE...

erm do exactly what we did, not buy a scorp harness haha... i lv'd nin from 1-75 and only time i used a harness was to take a pic with yours on in qufim and borrowed droutout's +1 to see the hype. gear doesnt make you a good player, just makes it easier to "look" like your a good player.
