I don't understand why ppl get so upset about the resident board folks who post a lot
cuz they're bored at work or school or w/e.. it gives me something to read and do when
shit is slow at my job. I could see it getting annoying if they were spamming all over
important threads like ppl trying to set up events or w/e but, ckd has their own private
section for shit like that. I could also see it being a negative thing if it was eating all of
Yarr's bandwidth and constantly causing the board to go down, but that doesn't seem to
really be the case either.

Personally, I never had a beef with ponuh, ike, arlania, or whoever was considered the
big spammers back in the day, they made the board interesting.. I could sit at my desk
and blow three hours on the board because everytime I'd finish up a post and go back to
the main index, there would already be like 10 new things to reply to. Actually,
sometimes I kinda miss them.

I don't think I missed anything. I only kinda sorta miss Ponuh, but it was probably better for him and the boards in general. And remember you really have to try hard to get banned here. I think out of everyone I can only recall maybe two or three bans besides Imaulle or Gana.

Dmitry just posts aren't malacious or totally annoying, just two seconds of extra forum browsing.

Ponuh is better now that he doesnt post as much lol.
Arlania was just annoying and tons of people PMed me asking me to ban him or delete all his posts. That guy was a pain and I was happy to ban him.
Jim is also a spammer, but id put him in the group of spammers like me. On topic, interesting to read and good to have around.

thanks for awhile there I feared becoming one of the bad spammers, or at least,
getting a rep as one, so it's good to know that I didn't go down that route, and yeh, I'm
not saying that the board isn't a better place now w/o all the spam.. just sometimes i get
bored and there's nothing going on... and even if some of ponuh's shit was annoying (and
lani's certainly was) a lot of it was also pretty fun when you could detach from it and
take it at face value.
