good thing I've been saving alchemy GP since just after emeralda ha

Hopefully they'll give us something nifty to craft. When they first announced the new alchemy stuff, it sounded an awful lot like the 'quiver' equivalent for potions.

ya, only being able to send 1,000,000 gil at a time in one slot does really suck, but an easy alternative is asking all ppl to /trade you your money. This also opens up the door to SE doing some undercover drug sales kinda stuff with the RMT. they can meet in port Jeuno and make the transaction, then BAM, all the GMs show up and ppl start getting shot.

at least it's going to be easy to spot all the gilbuyers targeting some IGE mule named Clwekjrlewfoi or Tekekrjeljsf trying to trade with them, if they do it in any convienient spot. Of course they could be asked to meet them in garlaige, past the 2nd banishing gate, behind the fetid flesh, at midnight.

The NPC Sagheera now has additional items available in exchange for ancient beastcoins.

Does that mean just the item you need to enter the new areas traded for 75 coins? or is there new stuff you can get.

I'm glad they seemed to have added a little post-op CoP storyline. Not that I've yet beaten 8-3 or 8-4, but storyline ftw, moreso than any new gear or battles or whatever.

There's a quest in Upper, that you have to recruit mercenaries for the Princess of Aht Urghan...when you complete it you're given a card that you have to turn in at Al Zahbi...the Aht Urghan Port...

I'm upset now that I have to carry this worthless key item til the expansion comes out >_>;

Oh, and theres a very, very good reason why you need to beat all the ZMs to finish this quest. Apocalypse Nigh is like the culmination of both CoP and RoZ.

Waking the beast rewards you with some spiffy weapons. Ramuh's Club isn't all that bad for WHM actually.

no, there are 2 lvl 70 earrings you can buy with 75 coins,

Stealth Earring
Ninjutsu skill +5
Enhances "Resist Silence" effect
Lvl 70 All

Musical Earring
Evasion+5
String instrument skill +5
Wind instrument skill +5
Lvl 70 All


the other 4 are lvl 72...and have the same model as divine might earrings. i'm 100% certain they will come from the Apocalypse Nigh quest

Wow that's hot for pld...you get hit for 100 dmg each hit (3 mp restored each time you get hit for those who can't do the math :-P ), that's basically an auto refresh

DRG/WHM with etheral earring is like....infinate MP infinate cures (given someone falls under 50%).

Drg/whm has been getting a lot of subtle boosts from SE lately, with Homam equip, af+1, to name a few.
Now if only SE would make wyvern sturdier to AOE with all the optimal equip we have a DD spamming cure IV with pracitcally no mana drain - that's pretty hot. Still escapes me why people think drg is so useless...

However, if 2 of the earrings are bought via coins from Saghreea, my guess is the others are drops from the new limbus/tremenos zones.
Doesn't make sense that half of the set is available via npc and the other half in a completely unrelated quest.

the 2 that come from the limbus npc are very different though. Those 2 are just like brutal/loquacious, and are lvl 70

the other 4 have the exact same model as the arc angel earrings, and are lvl 72 just like them. i'm CERTAIN they will come from whatever BC fight ends up being at empyreal paradox.

Now i gotta go finish zm17 and bahamut#1 so i can do it >.>

that leviathan polearm looks pretty decent for drg too dmg: 89 delay:480 +8mnd +8attk

and yeh overall I'm gonna agree with Rune that this update seems pretty shitty, but then, this is what I've come to expect from every update lol.
