Edit: I didnt realise one of the movies was just End of evengelion remastered, was a little too excited that it was done. One movie is "Death and Rebirth" the other is "End of Evangelion" and a remastered version of it.

It's pretty good! I've watched most of it, but not all of it.

I actually ordered the Platinum Collection and End of Evangelion from Barnes & Noble a few weeks ago and is due to arrive in a few days. Got tired of trying to watch it on Adult Swim as it's schedule kept changing and they started reshowing too many episodes so I just bought the whole series.

Every time i think about the days I watched it from start to finish all the way through, my brain hurts just a litttle bit.

It has got to be one of the most intensely symbolical storys I have ever seen, and its downright able to make a grown man cry from how complex it gets. Watching it once does it no justice, but trust me even watching it 10 times and you still won't know what the hell everyone's angle is in the storyline. Its just cool like that.. definitely a must buy for a true die hard fan. Even if you get the torrent, they got a rerelease of the special edition box set that looks real cool, you can probaly find it, I would suggest owning it, its just one of those anime you need for a true collection.

Don't bother watching the last episode, or maybe last two of the series(I forgot which was the second to last one). Death and Rebirth were made to replace them due to their lameness. It's probably all rumors and what not, but people say the creator was rushed on the last two eps. or something like that.

The last few episodes of the series they literally ran out of money and thats why they are pretty sucky but don't skip them think of it as an alternate to what really happens lol.

I've seen all 26 episodes and EoE.

One of the movies is just clips and part of EoE, and the other is a redone EoE.

But, the last 2 episodes sucked =P
