Seriously. I want to kill someone now. If it wasnt bad enough that Topher Grace might be playing Venom (still unconfirmed from Sony), they have now butchered the Spider-man black Symbiote costume. I mean this is probably an early version of it, but this is basically what we have to look forward too.

Im so frustrated it not even funny.

LOL Yea Yarr that whole Topher Grace playing Venom was upsetting to me also (Since he was my favorite character in the comics, Carnage was also dope >.>). The costume looks ok in the poster tho.

According to a series of comics which I cant remember...the black spider-man costume originated from a device in a buidling on this world where alot of these Superheroes were brought to fight against each other. Spider-mans original costume was torn to shreads along with other members costumes. Those superheroes got their costumes fixed and told Spider-man were to go to get a new one. Peter wasnt sure where exactly the machine was that the others used. Believing that he found the correct machine, he activated it. This black form drops from the machine and engulfs spider-man. Next thing you know...a new suit. The beginning of the "Black Suit" look.

yeah it was during the "Secret Wars" mini series. It was a mini series used to promote the Marvel Comics and a line of toys lol. They redid the costumes for the new line of toys.

It was all for sales but ended up creating one of the best spiderman arcs.

That is correct. During the first Secret Wars, Spidey's costume got beat up badly. So he used this machine that spat out this black goo that then became his costume. Little did he know that the costume wanted to bond with him forever. So we all know where that led.

Also, that black costume looks so wrong. Not even close to what it should be.
