You could always farm or craft or solo in an hour.

When I only have half an hour, I check the AH if I'm in town or try to solo if I'm not.

And guys, highschool doesnt mean anything except what college you will get into. Screw the grades, have fun, do well on the PSAT/SAT's, and do what you want in your life. Trust me, you won't talk to more than 1/4 of the people you even KNOW in college after highschool, unless you go to the same college everyone else goes to.

As for the expirement, i hope it works, might as well get some counter strike 1.5 runnin on the computer too, easier to play in just 1 hr

BLU can solo. And I've been in pt's where someone has left after the first kill. I'm sure an hour is fine pting time. And I always warn my pt ahead of time before I bail to see if they want me to get a replacement.

Like I said, I can do other things than just pt. There's a lot I need to catch up on that 1.5hrs would do nicely for.

I'd say what college you get into is pretty important. I'd hate to be stuck going to a community college.

All I know is this game is the devil in software form, it's impossible to play it casually.

But just imagine a few years from now...when you have a full time job trace, and you hate going to work everyday. And you think about what you missed out in high school because you played final fantasy everday 8 hours a day, and even in class.

All you need are grades, and a few acedemics to get into a good college. I've been on the Honor Roll every year since elementary school, and I'm in Choir and Theater. And I don't plan to play FFXI for 4 more years, lol. And if by the outrageous chance I do, I won't devote my life to it like I do now. Like, only log on for LS events and stuff. Which would prolly bore me instantly, and I'd end up quitting.

i dont really care what you do, i just dont think its a good idea to play in class.

1. school is important despite what people usually think. if its too easy, quit and go to college now. i did that at age 16.

2. say goodbye to making friends in school. you'll be forever known as that kid who is obsessed with video games so much that he has to get a fix during school. girls will think you dont shower, you'll be in the ff daze all day and everyone will know where your priorities lie.

3. someone will find a way to stop you, probably a teacher. and then all that work setting it up is a waste of time.

4. i feel sorry already for the parties that invite you if you leave after an hour and a half. and i doubt you'll find a party right when class starts. considering it usually takes 3 hours just to find a party, you'll probably try and solo. i've never seen BLU solo of course, but knowing ff i would bet its as pathetic as all other jobs other than bst are.

5. if you are anything like i was, you play all afternoon. you gotta have time during the day away from ff. its not healthy to play it so much.


ive been on these forums for 2 years now. thanks to yarr. its funny how new kids get on here and ask why i check these forums. maybe you have a point. it used to be 100s of people i knew, now its just a bunch of new kids on the block. no room for us anymore.

ya, it is important to get into a good college. IF you do well on your PSAT/SAT, you will more than likely get into whatever college you wanted to get into. very few ppl score a 1500 on their SATs and recieve 2.0 GPAs while in school.

Even if you DO go to community college, its not the end of the world. A person that is determined to get a good education will get a 4.0 in their community college and will try to transfer in, i know a few dozen ppl from my school that have tried and succeeded in that aspect.

What's so bad about leaving after an hour and a half? I'll get a replacement, so not like it's going to harm anything. And I get invites on BLM all the time, when I'm not even seeking. I haven't seeked for 3hrs since I lvled DRK.

I haven't soloed with BLM lately, mainly because I don't like running to sky just to kill elementals. and DRK has 0 soloing capabilities. Oh, and before you make accusations about the new jobs, read up on them. BLU solos better than BST so far. People have been getting 5k/hr solo at dune lvls.



I leave the house every weekend. And I go outside to walk around with this girl I like, but it's none of your business.

If I wasn't lazy and worked ahead in my computer class, I'd do this too, but I like to stay a comfortable week behind because I only work one or two days a week.

im in AP Comp Sci and i havent done work since January and maintain a B. But its nothing special so does most of my class i think theres 3 kids that do work.

I did at 17 ;p
