after all that hype about the sh movie and having it as your sig and stuff how come you never posted a review? I'm going to see it tonight, I hear it's good. I'll post back with the verdict later

lol, that's a good question. Dunno, didn't feel compelled to make yet another thread about it. It was kinda rough, alot more violent than I thought it was going to be. U.S. critics totally mauled it, for the most part they were right, the story was pretty rough for anyone not quite familiar with the story behind the series. I mean, 80% of the plot was summed up right before one of the final sequences in a huge flashback, haha. What i was most happy about though, was that they stuck with the feel and look of the monsters and setting with the movie. Pyramid head, the nurses, etc. Even the grainy quality and dark silent hill when the walls start to peel and everything rusts/bleeds. Visualy, very well done. The story was manhandled, but it was a fun watch.

But really, probably one of the best game to movie makes that I've seen. Not sure if that says much, lol, but I enjoyed it.

Most people might want to wait til' its out on DVD though.

Edit: Yeah, need a new sig now, had to overwrite my webspace on campus servers and that deleted the picture I was linking to.

Yeh I thought it was good, even w/o the whole video game to movie element behind it, I thought it could stand on it's own as a pretty decent horror flick. The scene where pyramid heads rips that chick in half was like the greatest thing evar I only wish I had impossible to guage strength like that irl. Unfortunately, I only played the 1st silent hill game like halfway through so I'm still a little fuzzy as to wtf happened in the movie. Someone fill me in.
