Problem is people solo to 60 in WoW in a week.. while someone that levels that fast in FFXI plays all day and is PLd with a perma pt (and has usually leveled at least 2 other jobs to 75). You didn't even get past lvl 55 in FFXI. WoW is a fucking joke to level in and a level 60 is not even an accomplishment I would brag about. Hand holding through quests, rest xp, etc. Training wheel MMO. It is a fucking joke. That said it is more fun to level in WoW and less torture... you can spend more time seeking for a party in FFXI than you can level 3 characters in WoW to 60 total.
You have no basis to argue FFXI.... albeit I lvld a 60 mage regrettably on a sorry ass PVE server, I don't even talk about it. That game is that much of a fucking joke, no TA for hate control.... very little to no elemental wheel of weakness (fire, arcane, ice omg)... no MB no SC. I can go on and on... no forced 18 man engage on a mob... You can zerg the hell out of outdoor raid bosses except Kazzak (he isn't hard either). No subjobs (talent builds do not compare to subjobs at 75 in any way shape of form).
MC is a farm status instance for everyone and is zerged. BWL is all up to one mob that is like Dynamis Lord as far as random wipeage, then it reaches farm status. Blizzard just nerfed Cthun and now like 50+ guilds beat that shit within 2 days of the nerf.... not to mention most beat the mob after it. AV is unbeatable again... due to SE fixing the wall glitch due to giving it draw in lmao. So you hack and go over the wall to nuke... your ass gets drawn into or through the wall and get your face raped.
Plenty of hacking in WoW instances too due to Sony bypassing the Warden with its copywriting software... insta GM calls though get bans in outdoor areas though (seen a 40something paladin jump over a damn mountain before lmao). That and the ease of duping gold in WoW is silly (omg forced lagging into an instance with trade window open). Bunch of twinked out RMT fags everywhere also. Shitty ass retard community. World of Diablo lol.
OMG Jumping and more people play it so it must be better. Guess what last I checked most Pop music sells a shit ton more than Dream Theater. Just because a majority of people like something doesn't mean it is good... just means you are a sheep. Believing video game reviews from companies that are paid to make Blizz look good. WoW might be fun, but it is FAR from being as hard as FFXI lol... that says alot by shitty ass MMO standards as well. PvP server xping was fun, but was more of the same shit except random ganking by people 20+ lvls higher than you. Hell there are strengths and weakness to each game, but when you say WoW is harder than FFXI it makes you look like a god damn idiot.
lol...
Both FFXI and WoW are easy. Don't confuse Timesink with Difficulty Level. There is no difficulty in sitting in a zone for 5 hours, pulling crabs and pressing the same 3 macro buttons. Nor is there difficulty in LFG in Jeuno. Both are just a huge waste of time. And it's not any more difficult to run around in WoW and collect Yeti Fur to turn in to a quest NPC. Only difference is it doesn't require as much time.
Argue that WoW is a quicker MMO, not an easier one. haha. Only real difficult part in either game is that initial point where you're trying to figure out a strategy to kill a new boss. After that, it's the same thing in either game. You can just work a 10-hour shift, drive home, and still have time to play something in WoW.
Plus WoW has bind on equip/pickup shit, so if you're busy with school, or something, you don't get a whole guild bitching at you to return your awesome "Guild-Loot" Not like you earned it, or anything.
While there's tons of casual vs raider debates on the WoW forums, at least you have the choice to be casual, which is why I had to stop playing FFXI. I miss all you guys that I made friends with, but I don't miss the time sink aspect of it. (I do wish I could have played a BLU, though, since that's a job I've wanted since I was a WAR01, before I even became a WHM01. haha)
