i was never super popular in high school. i've never had many friends, my best friend got married and moved away soon after i started playing, and shortly after that my other good friend died. so i never really noticed how much time ffxi took up. but cause of computer problems, rl issues, and natural disasters.. I never got to play as much as i wanted anyway.

well.. i feel sorta silly posting on topic now so..

Led I wouldn't be surprised if this site is one of the top 10 viewed FFXI forums... but more heavily modded than BG so people outside our server usually would not have the balls to post here.. it is mostly Ifrit stuff and more community related. Most of the traffic is solely Ifrit (probably a good amount of outside lurkers)... this server has one of if not the weakest KI community section... that is largely due to the popularity of these forums.

Yeah I realized FFXI affected me IRL when I actually did not show up to my friend's wedding to play FFXI... well I hung out with him from age 4 to 15 then lost touch for about 10 years lol... but nonetheless I didn't show up to a wedding I was invited to. That and my brother, parents and some of my friends who do not play MMOs have pretty much asked me to quit several times. Hell I told myself I would quit at lvl 60 and after I beat Shadowlord.. lol man did I lie to myself.

I have less than 155 days playtime too...that is with stopping FFXI for a month on 3 different occasions and a couple weeks here and there. I xpd BRD to 75 in 72 or so days playtime (perma from 32 to 57ish).. and I started at NA launch (I took 2 one month breaks before I hit lvl 60 BRD). Been doing end game for the last 79 or so days play time and very little to no other job xping.. no bazaaring at all overnight or crafting, fishing etc. I figure I have wasted 100 to 200 rl hours at King camps alone... maybe more.

Yeah we have been hit a bunch by the bots. Probably because I dont care to make the people register go through the process of getting an email and activating and all that crap.

We all know about IGE we all know you can buy gil, so i just think its funny to see them pop up.

Yeah I am happy this site turned out like it did and not like BG. The BG forums are cool but I wouldnt want to deal with the stuff the admins have to deal with there.

Yeah, but these forums have slowed down alot.

Granted, the only reason there were more posts was because of me, Arlania, Ike, and Kioto, but still :P

They have been a little slower but all site in general right now have slowed down.

Popularity in FFXI is dying dispite this expansion.
