Have you thought about what will happen if (altho really I mean "when") you get caught trying to disable the security systems and install a game on your school's network?
Well, they claim they have this "Light" that goes off in the office when you try to download ANYTHING on their computers, but I couldn't tell you how much shit I've downloaded and have never gotten cought. Using a proxy to download things probably has something to do with it though. And if I do get cought, I highly doubt I'll get slapped with criminal charges.
Oh, and I gave up on FFXI :/ ever since that Arab chick stole my PC that I was using to install FFXI on. I just want to disable Deep Freeze so I can download some online games and AIM.

Ever think they have Deep Freeze there for more than just to inconvenience you? So your goal might not be particularly malicious but if you manage to disable / go around it, it's only a matter of time before someone else does too and fucks up your network.
Nah. If someone could have figured out how to bypass it, they would have done it by now. It's the end of the year; everyone is too busy being supersticious (sp?) about 6-6-06. So nobody is trying to get through the school's security. And let's just assume, I got through it, and so did someone else, but they didn't find that other guy, and he corrputed the network. They'd blame me. And I would demand proof. Hell, even if I fucked with the network, you can't really prove I did it.

Yea the teachers in the room might not even notice whats going on but behind the scenes somebody will, if you tried to pull a trick like that at my old school you would likely have been expelled and even face criminal charges, especially if it led to some malicious software entering the systems and messing up 2000+ peoples data.
I'm sure someone will notice, but the chances of them finding me are slim to none.

Why not put all this time and effort into something useful, i dunno...learn a new computer programming language or something.
Computer Programming Language. Ewwww. I haven't tried doing that since before FFXI; back when I thought you could press a button and blow up somebody's OS. But really, if you have any good ideas on what I could do in my spare time, please tell me. It would help me out in more than one way if I found something to waste my time on besides FFXI. Plus, I have a 3hr Friday School to serve today, and nothing to do in it.

Don't mean to come across as flaming you or saying you're an idiot for wanting to do this, because there was a time when I might have wanted to do the same, however ....is it really worth it?
Even if you were flaming me, I'm done being a jackass. It got boring. And you know, it isn't worth it. But boredom is something that really pisses me off. And just having the satisfaction of having something simple like AIM on my PC would be wonderful. Hell, I have the installation program downloaded, but when it tries to install, it says I don't have administrative rights, and to log on to an administrator account before trying to install it.
And btw, Ket, I tried downloading Cain and Abel today, but my proxy was being gay and won't let me download it, so I'll put it on a CD and install it on Monday.
