I'm disgusted with fundamentalist religion. The rise of fundamentalist Christianity in America is something I really worry about. Maybe it's just the fact that the media often focuses on Evangelical hatespeech, but honestly, to me it feels like secular thought is slowly vanishing in America.

how a JC thread got derailed into someone talking about a guy with a scat fetish i will never know.... but i have found the more diversity we have in America the less religion. With everyones different beliefs and ideals all that seems to stem from it is violence, indifference, and a general hatred towards that which people cant comprehend or relate to. We had a mexican march for equal rights for illegals here in Tucson(i know its not religious but kind of the same thing) and all that happened was they burned the american flag so some redneck vets burned the mexican flag over and over and over again so something that started out with a purpose, i think, just turned into the high powered water hoses being turned on people.....
