I guess i have some time to waste. the game isnt as fun as it used to be. now i would find myself logging into my mh look at what i accomplished on my mnk, and seek on cor for and hour or so before logging and getting anoyed with the wait. (soon time will come for me to leave it all behind and move on with my life)

3. Had this game made a big effect of your IRL?
big not really. i did say No to a few friends sometimes but their all still my buds, nothing big.

4. Did you make any good friends?
yes there was a few ppl i would say were there for me. but one mainly. MIRZA my brother from another mother. met him in dunes when i was lvl 12 mnk and have been friends ever since, exchanged phone numbers and chat at least a few times a week, someday we will go get drunk together. cant wait to meet his son and wife. spent so many houres on the phone telling him how to fix his pc lol, good times.

5. Did you enjoy this game?
OF course even tho it didnt turn out the way i wanted it to...i still wouldnt cahnge a thing...cause if i did it wouldnt be the same lol (hope it makes sence)

6. Any comment about this game?
There is a lot of stuff that changes once people hit 75, i guess accomplishing one of the main goals i had, and then it started changing for me, not as fun as it used to be. i hope that someday there will be a game similar to this one but of course with the shity stuff left out so we can all enjoy it once more.

I think I might miss something if I'm not on, even though I know I won't. I like exping, I like fighting hnms and sky crap, and have a couple people I like talking to.

I can only say yes because if it was no I'd have quit. Most fun I can remember was leveling blm from 30-50, 52-56, 70-75, and pld 34-55, and the countless hours I spent farming and crafting as 61 blm with my friend storch. Single moments that stand out are a particularly epic marquis orias fight, an undead swarm besieged a few days ago, an exp pt as lv49 pld vs lv63 crawlers/scorps, and my first hnm tankjob as lv75 pld being the first na cerberus win. "The Alamo Nidhogg" on March 10th was epic and by far my most memorable exp on game, but definitely not enjoyable, almost threw up after it lol.

6. Any comment about this game?
Glad it's on ps2 to make people with really fancy computers piss and moan about how much it sucks. I love besieged.

On the fence I suppose. Plan quitting in july.. haven't really been playing in recent weeks though.

2. Why?

Just don't feel the same way about the game as when I first started playing. It felt too much like real life which made me take a step back and examine myself. The alleigences people made in this game almost never last. All in all quitting because somewhere down the line people forgot what games were.

Well I suppose it had. It's fillled up any free time I had (even soaked up some time that should have went to other things I'm sure). All in all though, I never let it effect my real life so much that I forgot that my name isn't the one in this game. If you respond to your game name.. you may need a shrink.

Well of course I did. Balidorn, Judai, Taera, Jimbean, Darklunacy, Canadia, Potatoninja, Elvren, Abigale, Myskhal, ShadowStalker, Durga, and the list goes on fora while. I was proud of the fact I never blacklisted anyone. Felt that blacklisting was worthless for me. I rather like to know what everyone is saying.. be it bad or good. I'm sure I missed a few n hell I'm not even sure if jimbean plays anymore but theyre all my good friends. Goodluck to each of you irl and ig if you care about that lol.

5. Did you enjoy this game?

I enjoyed helping people usually. Idk I just got a kick out of healing parties in the dunes or just traveling around raising. It soaked up a lot of my game time but I met some good people traveling around doing that. I know I've offended people in some sort or another but most everyone does. No one can say theyve been in a great mood everytime theyve logged in. Sometimes you just get on to blow off some steam... can't drive to do it anymore that costs 5 bucks each time you do it.

6. Any comment about this game?

FFXI is not for the player who wants to play for one hour and quit. Hell you'll be lucky to get a party invite in one hour. This game requires a lot of you. It's sad but true. GL guys.

Retired, part of the senior citizen club actually (thats different than the señor citizen club, or which mikey is a part of). Started playing at NA launch in oct '03, and played on and off until july '05.

2. Why?
I quit because the game was morphing into something that I didn't want to be a part of. The flawed claim system, the poor relations between NA and JP, the gil buyers and sellers, the hacks and cheats -- everything just started to go to shit. Plus the amount of time required to invest in the game just started to take its toll on me. If you can start measuring the time you invest in a game in years, then something is wrong.

3. Had this game made a big effect of your IRL?
I'd say yes. I stopped playing guitar and writing songs for a while because I was addictied to this game. I felt sapped of all my creative juices. I neglected some of my friends, and also my school work to a some extent. I had sharp pains in my back for a few months due to prolonged time in my computer chair, lol.

4. Did you make any good friends?
I met alot of cool people, I'd say. I know if certain people lived in my area, I'd want to hang out with them, but of course we are all too spread out to maintain lasting friendships.

5. Did you enjoy this game?
The game was a drug to me. I enjoyed it alot, sometimes to the point where I didn't want to do anything else. It was really fun, but I don't want to play another mmorpg, if that makes any sense. My favorite aspects were probably leading exp parties (I enjoyed mixing and matching jobs to get the best results) and soloing/duoing stuff with /nin. I disliked anything that required alliances, because it was always a headache waiting for people to organize.

6. Any comment about this game?
I'm glad I was a part of the first wave of NA players. I feel bad for anyone getting into the game over the past year or two. We really had the best experience that the game had to offer, no doubt.

WoW beta. Realization that I had no end game to look forward to in FFXI.

I wouldn't be playing WoW now; and WoW has had a huge impact.

I'm still here. Still enjoy the arguing, fun conversations, and epeen measuring.

5. Did you enjoy this game?

I enjoyed everyone I met in this game; from all my old friends from manaknights to the guys I got along with in CKD and that black ls full of people who talked for hours and never said anything(can't remember the name).

6. Any comment about this game?

Hated leveling. Hated it. Yet I still logged on every day to sit around and chat, and looking back I had some of my favorite conversations in manaknights.
