The costumed 80's movies had fairly realistic looking turtles (Well, until they tried to talk or pick something up or move.)

i will definatly watch this movie being how im probably as big of a fan as yarr is of TNMT.. and have REALLY REALLY HIGH hopes for this..

the graphics really isnt an issue for me, i am really not hoping for too much realism.. i mean after all.. it is based off of a comic/cartoon yada yada.. being a 3D animator myself i know that sometimes realism can also turn into such tragedy when it comes to certain things in movies.. but i wont get into that.. i'm actually hoping for more storyline than anything..

i still have my TNMT costumes and wear them =D

hmm ill see it, i wasnt a crazed fan, but i did have 3 tmnt birthday parties, and i did have all of the action figures.. and all the nes/snes games, and all the movies, and seen most of the episodes.. heh i still remember everytime my cousin came over we would play the original tmnt for the nes and beat it every time... not the first one but the second.. the classic arcade version.. oh god that never got old. oh yeah i was raph for holloween like 6 times too. i loved his forks.

the only thing keeping me from being excited about this is you know all the youngins like 13- year olds who never even heared of the originalk tmnt will be all over this.. not to mention all of those silly punkrock/gothic kids who buy every item of clothing at hot topic will be long "raghraghraghtmntforthedevil..forever" i duno where im going with that but i wont be suprised if it ends up sucking.
