I saw this the other day..... did any of you? I really didn't like it, I thought it was really stupid, not entertaining at all. The movie just seemed like it tried way too hard to be deep and just failed. Did any of you see it? Thoughts? Opinions?

Compared to the other crap thats out, i thought it was good. Im not even a fan of that matrix dude... Interesting concept and the animation was well done. I was ready to fall asleep at the end.

When compared to other drug movies i dont think it could hold its own.

I would hive it a solid 3 outa 5

I saw it the other night too. Doesn't even compare to Waking Life and some of the director's other movies. I think maybe it could have been better if they used noname/indie actors.

But I do love that animation style, and it's been improved upon a bit since Waking life and his shorts. Really neat and exciting for the future of animation.
Some of the stuff seems straight out of my life 4 years ago.. aha so strange.
Wanna read the book when I got more time. Comparative secularization and conflicting foreign policy has sorta taken over my life. and it blows.

Yeah I saw waking life too. But I was drunk when I watched it, so obviously I was lost the entire time lol. But I'm gonna watch it again soon.

I also liked the animation style in both of the movies, I think it's really out there and leaves room for some great things like the scrambler suits.

saw it saturday. I think it managed to be a very deep movie. It definately kept Phillip K. Dick's message intact. And the rotoscoping (animation style) has gotten better since Waking LIfe, you're right.

Great movie

the animation style looks too gimicky. like it would overshadow plot, characters, etc.
