We were getting about 5k and up xp per hour. The more we played the better xp got.

when i was lvl 72 i was invited by eternus to do a pt just like this

It was probably the best xp pt i ever had at that point i still have pics of my first ever chain 6,7,8,9, and 10

this was probably about may 05, because i was lvl 70 for 7 months lol

I only ever had 2 or 3 parties there, about the same time tomake did. KRT is where I hit level 72. 3 monk, 1 whm, 1 brd, and myself. Scary ass fights and totally not worth it, but kinda fun. I had to help heal a lot though because our whm was elvaan and had really crappy gear. Only time I've ever really had fun in a "spam" style party is with zelphes doing the thousand sword dance at the celestial nexus square. Brd, rdm, war, war, nin, me. I was the leech member but I managed to be somewhat useful(this is where I found my kill-switch as blm lol), and something about that area is just fun, was also the first place I saw chain #10.

hmm... I've always had pretty good experiences with lsmates, but my experience with people outside of that (mostly people i'd never heard of in pickup parties or w/e) is faulty. Sometimes you get lucky, but more often than not, people suck. I was thinking about this the other night after a particularly disappointing day of exp (or lack thereof) on blm, and was like man.. blm made me quit for like 3+ months, do I really wanna lvl ANOTHER job.. sadly I know I will, even tho the quality of players seems to have dropped significantly.

But then I guess if it was intended for only the people on this board.. then that's not so bad i guess
