Yeah tomorrow is the big day and im scared as hell....I got surgery on my arm the doctors wana remove the tumor...ugh Im tryn not to think about it..never had surgery before but yeah they guna put me to sleep ive heard horror stories about waking up in the middle of it tho...

you'll be fine. when i had surgery during the summer, whatever they used put me out within a min, but I could tell it was happening.

since they use chemicals now instead of ether (i think this is right anyways), chances are you won't wake up. it sucks waking up and not know where you're at though.

if they put an i.v. in your arm first, its prolly the same thing i had.

You'll be fine Akuku. You'll black out, and wake up not feeling anything for awhile.. up until later that day and the next where you'll be sore :p


Does anyone realize on this forum that you can delete your own posts a few minutes after you make them? lol Or at least I've been able to a few times.

best of luck aku. from my past experience, you won't feel a thing til you wake up but by then you can take as many vicadins as you want, so its really no biggie.

If it makes you feel any better, youre probably more likly to die than wake up and even then we are talking about 100,000,000,000 odds when operating on your arm ;p

Theres very little to go wrong during that opperation so try not to worry too much.

Best of luck to you. Don't be too worried about it though. I personally like having minor surgeries. haha Being put to sleep is fun and the after drugs are great. And even if you wake up in the middle of it, you won't know where the hell you are or what is going on. You could probably watch them doing it and not even realize it's your own arm. Drugs are great.

I've had a few major surgeries, it's pretty fun being doped up. Plus, you get to be pampered by your friends and family for as long as you milk it. :P

Lol I was sitting there all scared I almost ringed the nurses neck putting the IV in she missed my PERFECT vain I mean it was out there...poking out...anyways so I get to the room and Im freezing and the lady puts the drugs in me and im like woah...works fast huh the nurse is like yeah then BAM I dont remeber anything after that till I felt pressue on my arm and that was them moving me over then I blacked out again and woke up and said ....I wish I could have these drugs everyday. Lol MMMMMMMM drugggsss lmao.. Nah but I woke up kinda in pain but oh well its over and so is that damn IV!!

Just remember the doctor can't give you a rectal exam and rub your shoulder's at the same time.....

depends on what he's poking up your rectum.
