yeah I used to hate yarr for being an ass from time to time, but I never realized that he was actually a really good leader, I didn't realize it until he took a stand against the botters-CKD was a great well put together linkshell, the most powerful for the longest running time of an NA linkshell. lol Like I said people get so clouded with lame internet arguments and e-penis comparisons that they alot of times forget that these are real people irl who are probably really nice lol. Like I hate botters and think its unfair what they do, as well as RMT, but I know most of them are probably nice people irl lol. My friend told me about this show he was watching about gil sellers irl, and one of the poor chinese guys got MPKed or something, and then he got fired because of it, and he started crying because he didn't know what he was gonna do.

And as for why boys pretend to be girls online, I have no fucking idea but the ones that do. . . are hardcore about it. Like I used to keep this list of guys that would hardcore pretend to be girls, like aiame and a couple other people I wont mention. but like even after people knew beyond a doubt it was a guy, they would still insist on being girls lol.

and like, alot of guys play girl toons, but thats fine, they don't go around saying they are girls irl though, they just usually want a hot girl toon, usually mithra lol

hmm, i have no reason to post here since im not waiting for a patch like you guys, but i need a break from studying.

My simple history: Ganamena offered to help most of the incoming NA players if they joined his linkshell; he ran around the Quadav cave near bastok and would spam AOE spells for us to get our golden quadav pieces, and pretty much guided all of us through the new zones. We had no clue what the fuck we were doing without him.
Gana had hoped to create some bonds and eventually do alliances with us, when we hit his level, but some ignorant americans, pirotess mainly, caused drama and split from friend linkshell. Hokuten and a few others were born, but it was pretty much the elitist linkshell for a long time.
Hokuten drama started, and Yarr, already having his CKD pearl that he made some days back, handed it out to a few people. I was one of them, and we sort of split off from the crowd of Hokuten.
CKD was the general pimp NA linkshell for pretty much the entire "hitting 75" of north america on Ifrit. That's pretty much it, we lead the american portion of the server in HNM fights and claims until people who bought ffxi -after- its release started hitting 75 (i like to call these guys noobs. simply, how can you not get ffxi when it first comes out after we waited 2 years for it? meh, not every can be pwnage i guess). these noobs caused drama, made their own shells, etc.
Anyways, that's basically all that happened in my lineage. I pretty much kept to myself the entire leveling process since i didnt let myself party with americans often, and when i hit 75 ffxi's plethora of solo opportunities pretty much kept me busy. That's that.

Friend > Hokuten > CKD.

It's sad how all good times in mmorpg's have to come to an end, i know most of us long time online gamers understand the concept of replacement games. it'd just be nice if one day a permanent game came out that we could end with...

Seriously think about it. A pokemon Mmorpg would be almost identical to the show, and nintendo has the 3d CGI pokemon already made over and over in the stadium games, all they need is PCs and a game world. If they wanted to they could make it identical to the show, have tournaments with real people competitng for prize rare pokemon, the gym leaders could be NPCs, and some real players, appointed by Gms or something. Or maybe Gms themselves. The pokemon would run wild sort of like how ffxi mobs do. you see one in the wild, fight it and catch it. People would camp pokemon like they camp Nms. Each server would have its ranks of best trainers, like WoW does (( well, like WoW used too, they got rid of ranking in the last patch ))

but anyways, even people who say pokemon is gay would try it, don't lie and say you think its stupid because I know damn well 90% of you were into pokemon some how or another lol.

Not everyone owned a working computer when ffxi came out.

Pokemon mmo would own hardcore, but really they could probably give a wireless battle experience on nintendo DS. Wouldn't have mmo feeling but really it's the battles that would make the game. When I was in middle school I would always fight my friend 6v6. Serious epic shit. Nobody could beat us but each other. lol

The main demographic for pokemon is small children (and apparently some middle schoolers, like dead ) An MMO is supposed to be deep and complex enough to keep players hooked and playing for years. The end product would surely be something like neopets or that toontown adventure thing.

A game similar to pokemon but with more appeal, where there are thousands of creature "companions" is actually kind of intriguing, but pokemon is just too fruity.

I really want to get into EVE Online. i'm convinced it's the best MMO ever made but my friends are such ranch corn chip faggots they won't play a game unless they can see frilly armor on an orc.

actually pokemon does have over a thousand pokemon does it not? i haven't kept up with it. The demographic for pokemon is young children to teen yes, but did that stop millions of adults from playing it? no, the game was fun. An MMO would be huge, no denying it.

Ive never played pokemon. Ive seen a few episodes, but no more than like 5-10 episodes (what? I was bored, F off). From what I understand there is much more than just catching pokemon. The idea is that you breed, grow and evolve pokemon too.

Theres a reason the Pokemon games sell as well as they do. The concept is great. You could even look at pokemon as a hand held primative MMP-RPG(its just not online). The game is single player but the end game is all about battling your friends and getting the best pokemon to be the pokemon master. I mean isnt that the main goal of any good MMO? To be the best there is?

It wouldnt take much work at all to make a MMO Of pokemon. All you have to do is put everyone in the same world and created some sort of Torny system (rather than missions). The idea also would be that you dont xp your character. You simply xp the pets you want. I dont know how much strategy is involved in a pokemon fight, but to me this sounds like a fairly different and fun MMO.

Not that this is anything new. Ive said many times that Nintendo has a huge potential with a Pokemon MMO.

Lets face it, the game was created many many years ago for game boy colour. The original fans who bought millions of copies are grown up (Tal was in the age demo when it was first released and hes in his 20s now) now.

Theres so much potential in a Pokemon MMO.

lmao that was one of the funniest things from that South Park episode. When he chose the same toon as Cartman and got yelled at, then mumbled something like "I like Hello Kitty Island Adventures a whole lot more than this" I got teary eyed laughing so hard. I don't know why lol.

I never got into Pokemon at all. It's just not for me. I wouldn't play a Pokemon game period, expecially an MMO.
