apparently the dvd that has episodes 1-4 has been leaked to the internets
and review sites like aintitcoolnews.com reviewed the first episode while many user comments saw all 4 episodes and gave little blurbs.

here is the website review
[spoiler]“24” 6.1, airing one week from today, lives up to expectations.

The first big surprise is Mary Lynn Rajskub is now the star of “24.” Kiefer Sutherland is not listed among the first episode’s opening cast credits!
[b](edit by tomake: its confirmed he is in the first episode though fosho)

Here’s who is:

Mary Lynn Rajskub
D.B. Woodside
James Morrison
Peter MacNicol
Jayne Atkinson
Carlo Rota
Eric Balfour
Marisol Nichols

GUEST STARRING
Roger Cross
Michael Angarano
Megan Gallagher
Tzi Ma
Adoni Maropis
Kal Penn
Raphael Sbarge
Eric Bruskotter
Steven Schub

So we’re left to wonder, how long till we see Jack Bauer again?

As season six begins, America is a different place.

David Palmer’s kid brother, Wayne, has been president of the United States for 13 weeks. For 11 of those 13, America has been under siege. Nine hundred Americans murdered by terrorists in 10 cities.

And the frequency of terror is increasing. Mere hours after a devastating attack in San Antonio, a suicide bomber makes his mark in Los Angeles.

America, understandably, is freaking out. And it’s not a good time to be a swarthy guy with a Mideast accent. We meet one of these guys trying to get to work and he is denied access to a bus by a scared white driver. Later, we see a couple of white guys kicking in the door of their Arab neighbors. “We just want to talk,” says one, with little conviction.

Karen Hayes, who worked for Homeland Security out of CTU last season, is now national security advisor. Peter MacNichol, doing what sounds at first like a Dr. Phil accent, is a presidential advisor building “detention facilities” Hayes categorizes as “concentration camps.” The MacNichol character, Tom, even goes on to defend America’s Japanese internment camps of World War II.

The first hour, loaded with gratifying twists and revelations, suggests the crazy pace of the series will not be compromised by its many changes.

6.1 is AMAZING.

And 6.2, 6.3 and 6.4 keep up the awesomeness. 6.4 has not 1 but 2 holy shit moments. The tone is completely different then the first 5 seasons and Keifer's acting as always is stellar. If the next 20 keep the pace of the first 4, its safe to say that 24 will lock up its second straight Emmy. God bless moneygrubbing FOX and their insistence on the release of a premiere DVD and its subsequent leak on to the internet. What an awesome show. "I can't do this anymore..."
Also 6.1 has the best Jack Bauer kill EVER.

24 rules. that was very borderline spoilery, but that's alright. hey i got a 24 ringtone at http://www.24ringtone.co.uk/24-ctu-ringtone.asp i dunno if i posted that yet but i might have im so proud of it! haha! i answer the phone "Bauer." sometimes..

i can't wait for sunday. terrorists dont stand a chance as long as jack bauer is alive. (the only way to destroy jack bauer is using antimatter made of antijack bauer).

Edit: btw good find

Sorry never seen the show, im not much into TV nowadays, asside from Simpsons and Family guy, but hey Sinclair broadcasting just decided they wanted to make the cable company pay to send their signal via cable to tons of people with no extra charge so now as of the 5th we have no fox, no Simpson's no family guy and no Nascar(not that i watched it, but i liked to raz my ex roomates when their racers were losing, mainly just Jimmy johnson)

I dowloaded them but then my dad convinced me not to watch them because in reality if I watch them now I'll have to wait a month for more new episodes.

Oh no they di-in't.

That's what you'll be saying when you see the first four episodes of the new season of 24, which begin this very Sunday night on Fox.

I've just finished watching them, and I can tell you that not only should Kiefer win an Emmy for his first five minutes on screen alone, but also that this damn show has done it again. Just when you thought you knew the formula, knew the players, could possibly predict what might happen next, the storyline bitch-slaps you into an entirely different hemisphere. And oh, it is good.

Now, just to get everyone up to speed on what you can expect from 24 this season, here's my rundown of what you need to know:

1. Jack Bauer is hairy. Like, gross hairy. Like, I'm pretty sure small creatures are living inside that nappy beard of his. Twenty months of Chinese torture has not been kind to our heroic world-saver. J.B. is troubled, he's skittish, he's mute—and when he does open his mouth in the first episode, well, let's just say that there's a moment that is not for the weak of stomach. I'm wretching now just thinking about it! Blech!

2. Chloe is hot. So long, computer geek! Our girl Mary Lynn Rajskub is now a confoundingly coiffed, svelte señorita who is front and center in what appears (at least to moi) to be something of a love triangle! Love it.

3. Old friends will be back. "It's true. You haven't seen the last of Martha Logan," Jean Smart tells me. "But I haven't even read what I'm going to do yet." So it'll be a while before we see the Logans—yes, Martha's hubby the former prez (Gregory Itzin) will be back, too. As for Kim Raver (Audrey), she says only, "I might [be back]. Maybe. My commitment this year was to The Nine and now we are trying to figure that out. I am leaving that to the producers." (And as you'll soon see, Jack has not forgotten about her!)

4. New friends are coming, too. Chad Lowe has signed on to several episodes this season. He'll be playing a savvy politician named Reed Pollock. And Rena Sofer (she's everywhere, is she not?!) will step in, too. When asked which side her character will be, she says, "I'm tainted by bad, but I think I'm good. I play Paul McCrane's wife."

5. The end of the fourth episode will leave you speechless. Seriously. I can't even talk about it. It's that insane.

Don't forget to tune in to 24 this Sunday for the big premiere on Fox. Feel free to join your fellow 24 lovers on our message boards and watch it together. (I'll be at the Lost party gathering up scoop for ya.) And I'll have much more 24 scoop for you after next week's big Fox party at the TCAs.

IGN also thinks new Family Guy episodes are funny and awards them 9.x ratings. I don't trust them one bit.

I watched the first episode last night.. that was pretty shitty lol. Well at least it made me laugh. I guess I should suspend belief and expect that there would be absolutely no realism whatsoever haha. Him kicking the guy out of the back of the train before the bomb exploded was fucking funny, omg he is so fast lololol. In the real world his leg and the back half of that train would have been gone.
