you don't have to have seen any of the other seasons. if you like the unique format of the show, you will enjoy it.

the show is in real time. the clock ticks down over the course of an hour and several different plots play out during this time, all in keeping with the real time format. usually only one plot is on the screen at once, but occasionally there will be two or more for a few seconds.

24 makes use of split-screen not only to capture multiple plotlines but also sometimes just to view one plot line from multiple angles.

this show is rarely predictable. the only predictable thing about it is that there is usually something crazy happening.

jack bauer (kiefer sutherland) is a modern day hero. america needs a jack bauer. [edit: other countries too lol]

so if you think you'll have your Monday nights free the next few months, give this show a try! the first episode is actually in a few minutes (Sunday), but starting tomorrow it will be on mondays
8pm EST
7pm CST
6pm MST
5pm PST

OMG

She looks better every season. I totally would have bent her over the ctu car and jizzed on her back after she assault rifled that dude in season 4.

Meanwhile all I'm watching for now is the first epi, taping all the first 4 then hoping I can convince bestbuy to send me my fucking season 5 dvd this week and tear through it in a day or two.

I think jack just wanted to give the terrorist a kiss '3'

scenes from tomorrow's 24 looks pretty crazy. That look on Jack's face...it's like it has something to do with Kim or Audrey.

I watched it for a few minutes. Sunshine and I wanted to get into it, but we already have so many shows I just dont think we can hold another plot line in our heads haha.

Currently on my list of "Must watch Shows"

(In weekday order)

How I met Your Mother
Heroes
Lost
Jericho
The Office
My Name is Earl
Scrubs
30 Rock
Family Guy
American Dad

Those are all the non "reality" tv shows that I watch. I also watch fun and stupid shows like Wife Swap, Cops and the first few episodes of any reality talent show that shows real people acting really stupid.

When I was in Munich, there were some British pilots complaining endlessly that the American "The Office" is such crap to the original British version. I think "The Office" is pretty damn funny though. I can't say I have watched the British original, however I hear it was inspired partly by the movie "Office Space".

The original problem with the American "The Office" is that it tried to emulate the british version. They used the same plot lines, characters and things like that... BUT they gave all the american characters totally different personalities. So people who watched the british version first hated the american one, but those who never saw the british one loved the american version.

However, season two has gone a different direction and most people I know who hated The Office at first (the american version) have come around to enjoying it.

Whisp you would really like "My Name is Earl" more so than the The Office.

It's decent. It's funny and all but it's not nearly as funny as the British version and it's funny for different reasons.

I've seen the British version of The Office, and I wasn't that impressed. I watched about 4 or 5 episodes of it. I love Steve Carrell.

My Name is Earl is probably my favourite show to watch. It's hilarious and the show plots are always random and wacky. The show was extremely well cast and Jaime Pressley is awesome in it!
