Yeah you came as whatever the LS needed you as Whisp. That is great, I was referring to somebody coming as DRG or BST or something like that when they were needed as WHM, BLM, BRD, or RDM. You know people that show up as a job to sky when they were asked to come as something else that the LS needed badly. Sucks you didn't get to do as many events as you wanted to as BRD, the LS seemed to never have enough WHM lol. Come to think of it, I rarely see people use your character as BRD... I could two box 2 BRD pretty easily haha. Most of the time I see Whisp on WHM. They might have been using him as BRD more lately now, I haven't been in game for a couple of months.

yeh i saw a recent ls application where the person listed their jobs and put (retired) next to rdm. wtf does that mean anyway? If you have the job, you can't retire it, granted you may have wanted to lvl anotehr job and you might not want to be asked to come as said job and hell maybe you even sold off all that jobs gear for gear for one of your newer more fun jobs.. but come on. that's bs, don't even mention you have it then..

Raids and linkshell setup in general is all about balance. If you are not balanced then shit becomes 10x harder than it should be.

Take dynamis for example.... Could you do any dynamis zone without a blm (including xarcabard) and win? Yes. Is it 10x easier to do the zones with atleast 2-3 blms? Yes. Therefore, if some members have blm leveled to an effective level range is it more EFFICIENT for them to come as blm than say a thief? Yes.
** Just one of many examples but you get the point.

My take was always that of if you don't like the job and you have it leveled to an acceptable level range....

1- Don't list it on linkshell applications or if you do specifically state that you are not willing to come on that job if needed 100% of the time
2- If you aren't fond of the job, then don't carry around gear for it
3- IF YOU AREN'T WILLING TO COME ON THE JOB 100% OF THE TIME (if needed), THEN FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T LOT GEAR FOR IT UNLESS IT'S ROTTING

Well i know that THF is pointless for a lot of stuff, so i leveled RDM to 75, RDM got me in my LS, and i always ask what i am needed as, never will i show up to something as what i want to be, thats just selfish and stupid, and like DRG is useful anywhere.


(sorry to the people that only leveled DRG, SE hates you more than the player community, and soon you will level something more useful just like i did.)

If I do see him it is usually teleporting people or helping outside alliance with cures or something like that.

How exactly could keston steal ToDs from PD even if he was trying to? PD watches other shells kill HNMs because they are horrible at claiming. You cant call it "stealing ToDs" if the shell you are stealing from never once touched the said monster. Besides, from everything I have witnessed about PD, even if PD claimed they couldnt even kill what they were trying to fight.

Bringing all melee jobs to aspi is simply retarded. Doing the same thing to jailer of fortitude is just as stupid. If SPQR was half as evil as we are made out to be, we would have simply stolen fortitude and killed it in 5 mins right in front of PD.

If keston wanted to go to endgame events as a useless job like DRG then let him, but take away his lotting ability. It has been said more than once that keston only went to events that he got something out of. If he wasnt allowed to lot if he went as drg, then he wouldnt go as drg. That is a lack of leadership in allowing him to leech off of an event when going as something useless.

I have a 75 brd and I HATE playing as it. But if my shell needs brd for an event I am more than willing to come as it (even if I complain). If you care about your LS, you will go as a job that is needed. If it is so hard to go to an event as a job that you are needed as, your LS does not need you and should kick you from the shell.

Well actually in the bain of what this thread was intended to be. I am lvlin nin 66 atm and omg ????ing Sokar was in the party my old ls buddy from three plus years ago. The reason i bring this up is because i was talking about old times and new things and i brung this thread up.

And what i found helps out beans claim, which is; first sok was an original PD member and not to long ago left them to hang more with his social shell/family as he puts it TC. Next he said that one day in sky on a god run airenn who was blisted of course was pleading him to not be imature and at least unblist her during the run to make things smoother.{ie in ls chat tell another member to relay message that was not blisted}He even went on to say thay she even opologized and tried to let by gones be by gones for the good of the ls and he stubornly refused.

Also the thing about him coming loldrg was confirmed and he says everyone knew keston was about to get the boot. And when he was gone its kind of like letting Richard Nixon step down out of office before his impeachment, is what the keston thing was like. The whole ls cheered like on independence day when the aliens all died.Its one thing to be a self proclaimed know it all,But its another to claim to know it all and be wrong and n00bish looking/sounding.

He said many ppl complained about him being a disruption to the flow as he put it.And event ran much smoother if keston dced,didnt show,or just wasnt there.
