Received this a couple of minutes ago.

So I'm starting a record label, these aren't/won't be the final proofs (possible color changes or changes in an overall design) but this is a few ideas my graphic designer gave me. It's predominantly a hip-hop label but brand distinction is everything and an idea like one of the ones above will be the imprint logo for the label. You guys get to act like a focus group so tell me what you think. Vote and/or discuss.

I like K... but I'm partial to green, and the other ones seem kinda lame with the mouth and record for various reasons.

Red H is pretty cool

Haywood Thomas does a lot of work for Widespread Panic but he does great work on many other things ^^

It's the most topical. It makes sense to have someone eating something.

lol supa after seeing this, and after talking to you, im gonna have to say i like k, i just doesnt seem to match the music theme, and to mee i looks home made.. while the rest look professional. and for your case, i think K in multiple colors (or green is fine really) woulda been your best option

trust me this logo wasn't homemade, however the way I copied and pasted the graphic in ms paint makes it look like kind of grainy and like shit lol

Haywood Thomas made the logo, he does a lot of different graphical design work and stuff. Although I'm not a huge fan of Widespread (Panic), he designs a lot of their posters and shirts

I also like the fact that the teeth are kind of checking the record much like an individual bites a coin to see if it is real

also after further investigation and strange coincidence, it "looks like" there can be 13 teeth in the design, recipe records is 13 letters - oooooo spooky

armani, all of them are eating the record.... i liked k because it has the "in your face, on my turf" kind of feel. and like i said, i just looks professional
