Yaw I got 3 in my garage...they are for R33 only though #-o j/k

I doubt you will find much luck here with that lol. Try this forum http://forums.nicoclub.com/zeroforum?id=68. GTR Skylines are extremely rare on this side of the world. In the states it can cost up to $20-30,000 on top of what you paid for the car, just to get a Vin # and make it street legal. It's also a huge pain in the ass. I would love to have one still...

ya its really hard to get it legal in canada. At customs they do what is called a dirt and soil inspection. they dont give a VIN number to japanese cars. when it lands here it keeps its original 11 digit Chasis number ex: BNR32-000000 and trying to insure it is extremly challenging but after 4 hard days of non stop calling i finaly found one and im paying 1000$ a year for 500$ comprehensive insurance including fire theft and vandalism + liability :D anyways thanks for those sites guys ill browse through em

Take me for a ride! I would love to own any right hand drive car in the first place. I would also kill for a GTR Skyline (any model really). Having that would just be pure sex.

I don't know anybody who owns one here in AZ, but like Ike said we only have a couple street legal ones. The only ones I've ever seen were 2 (R33 and R34) that GM Proving grounds were testing (many years ago) at Firebird Raceway, and I've seen 2 R33 at CRA events at Phoenix International Raceway (not street legal). I met a guy once in Scottsdale with an R32 street legal and he was kinda a dooshbag. His was imported from London and he paid a shitload to get it legal here. I've heard R34 cannot ever be made street legal here btw. Kinda sucks.

the 32 only has 270hp/tq stock :-k Just goes to show you the innovation of the 2.0...

i was going to buy one but only a few spots in the US can get them/mod them. Plus they really get dicked if they go through Cali emission process i hear. The bike was a much better choice for me.

Yeah I totally forgot about that. They lose a shitload of power after they get converted to street legal for the states. California is realllllly hardcore about that stuff too. If I lived there I wouldn't even consider owning one. I wouldn't be suprised if the highest amount of GTR Skylines in the USA are in CA still lol.

Have you guys seen the new GTR that is coming to the states in 2008? Overpriced garbage so far! Looks like a G35 on crack for twice the cost. Estimated to have a comparable motor to the MUCH CHEAPER Lexus IS350.

ITS BRILLIANT" -nissan

well if its emissions testing your worried about just do what im gonna do. In quebec they are gonna start inspections of cars for the environment. The exhaust system im getting is a 3.5" straight pipe with no catalizer. When it comes time for inspection ill just put my stock exhaust back on.
Cheapest place to get parts to modify a tuner are directly from japan. i have an excllent site who provides all the mods you would need. I just dont feel like waiting another 2 months to recieve my items which is why im posting around but it looks like ill have no choice. Klyua i may be going to New york for a car show in the summer, id be more then happy to give you a test drive should you happen to be in the area :P

04 Camry eh...which model? engine size etc...i might be able to find stuff for him. If its rims i need to know the dimensions and the offset and size he wants. Although i would try to convince him not to mod a camry, they arent made for racing. If he wants to mod a car i would recomend a tuner like Fairlady z , 240 SX , supra twin turbo, RX-7 Twin turbo, Honda civic SI , Nissan pulsar, Mitusbishi Lancer (in the US they have Evos o.o..) FQ400 or FQ430 , Subaru WRX impreza (STI if he can afford) etc etc... a camry will end up costing him an arm and a leg for no special modding, he will have to invest tons of money to get minimal results. If he still insists on modding it lemme know ill try and see what i can get. and Yeah Ike id give you a spin if your there

Man I wish I stuck to my original plan back in the day. I had a 2000 TRD 4X4 Tacoma I bought in 2000, and I was going to buy a 94 Twin Turbo Supra when I paid the truck off, and keep both (truck as daily driver). Of course my impatience led me to selling the truck early (so I didn't make much) and buying my RSX. I've wanted an MKIV Supra for such a long time. If I stuck with that plan I would have one today with a couple years of payments into it...and I'd still have my truck :( I think I'm gonna stick with the RSX for a while. It's almost paid off and is still in great condition with low miles.

how the hell could you sell the tacoma? was it a prerunner? omg in arizona too! did you ever take that thing off-roading, or mudding. omg i love tacomas. im currently driving an 04 civic, but its not mine its my dads technicaly and when i move out im supposed to buy my own car, ive always wanted a subaru impreza wrx, not nessesarly an sti, i could live w/o that. but no way i can afford that, so i was looking at VW, im in love with the 03 golf gti 1.8t, idc if its slower and other street cars, i just love the body style and the euro look it has, id actualy like to get one of the new gti's and switch out the tail lights, but uhhh thats not in my pricerange. id love to get a tacoma, but for how much i drive, and how i drive, id be spending way to much on gas....and lifts...and other offroading mods.

edit: ive also read on some VW forums about a rabbit tdi, since the rabbit replaced the golfs. so id settle for a new rabbit too

Prerunner is the TRD that isn't 4wd. I had the 4wd one. It was manual tranmission too, which owns for off roading. Yes I did take it offroading and it kicks all kinds of ass. The stock suspension on those trucks is wicked. I was owning big lifted full size trucks all over the place (for climbing) and didn't get stuck easily like they did. Jeeps are another story. Those could drive circles around me while climbing. AZ is an excellent place for off roading...we have so many good mountain places. I am not a big fan of mud. I've driven through semi deep mud but nothing insane. The worst time I did it I was in the white mountains after we smoked a lot of chronic lol. I was following my friend's big chevy truck and he was driving VERY fast through a muddy pine tree filled road while it was raining like crazy (around turns and shit) sliding all over the place. I was very paranoid following him. I don't like the lack of control at high speeds in mud. It scares the hell out of me.

I sold it because I wanted a car. Off roading is fun, but driving a truck all the time isn't (for me). I wanted a little go cart. I've always liked Integra GSR/Type R and when the 02 RSX came out here I freaked out. It's a great car all around for what it costs. I got my arctic blue type S (the color and model I wanted) with 14k miles on it for a little over 20K. I got it in 02 and that car was $26k at the dealership after tax/title/and license and they would not go down in price for the type S (it was well known at the time). They would only lower the price of the base models. The color I got was hard to get then also. It's not fast really but it's fun as hell to drive everyday. I also love that I'm 6'5" driving a little car and I fit perfectly in it lol. I don't fit well in many cars. RSX is great for taller people. After I pay it off I'm gonna dump money in it to go fast (already know what I'm going to do)...then I may get another truck so I can have both.

WRX would be bad ass! I would love to have an STI. I almost traded my car in for an STI once lol. I love the Blue one with gold wheels  Those sound fucking wicked with aftermarket downpipe and exhaust. IMO best sounding 4 cylinder motor ever made. They sound almost like TT supras lol. I've seen many STIs race at firebird and PIR. They tear shit up if the person knows how to drive. Get a 03 Golf GTI! I like those. You could always get an SRT-4 or a Cobalt SS. Cheap, very quick, very cheap to make fast as hell, and many people hate them for those reasons lol.

i hate the srt-4 because they are louder than shit, and i just dont like the way the neon looks, cobalt ss are nice, however i absolutley hated the interior, was dissapointed with the cardboard seats, and the poor design (in order to lift the e-brake, you had to fisrt lift the whole center console) it was just like "wtf" im gonna get my golf ^^ its just a matter of when lol id kill for one of these, my friend alex has this in jet black

WTF are you talking about? My SS doesn't have that problem. My 01 1.8T Wolfsberg did
