Lyberty's use of Adam West logic was excellent. I just hope that wasn't a serious post. Kioto wins runner up for "It's not a problem until it's unfixable" post.

I dont mind being put in the "them or those" category on this subject, i frankly don't really see myself shutting anything off for any reason (unless i run out of money and can't pay the bills, which isnt happening anytime soon). It would help if everyone or at least a high % of the population had the same mindset and willpower to achieve this, chances are we will eventually have to start looking for other ways to harvest electricity, and the power you save, will most likely only be beneficial to yourself (in terms of saving money anyways). Hell, if it gets really bad, we'll just have bush shutdown china or something... oh wait!

Me saving money wasn't the main reason why I shut everything off but my alarm clock off when I go to sleep. I can't sleep with all that shit running lol. Well I do charge my cell phone and iPod during sleep and maybe leave the dryer running if I am doing laundry. I leave everything off when I go to work as well. The only time I have anything on is when I am at home doing shit. Though if I save 60 bucks a year in electric bills, that is basically a free game for not being a lazy ass.

Thats fine and all.
But don't complain 10 to 15 years from now how things have changed so much.
Leaving everything on is pretty grottiest way of being completely ignorant to a growing problem.
But whatever. I guess its too tough just to press the off button on things.

Ohh and btw. Merely using the excuse that you CAN afford it, is pretty lame.

I'm quite sure alot of here can afford our electric bills too.
Its not the matter of being able to afford it, its the matter of responsbility

I'm merely pointing out exactly what you just said.

I'll say straight out. ( the way it seems you wanted to point it out)

I HAVE MONEY SO FUCK EVERYTHING, I"M NOT TURNING ANYTHING OFF BECAUSE QUITE SIMPLY I CAN AFFORD TO NOT CARE.

Not only are you using that as an excuse.
You made sure to be completely close minded about the UNBELIEVEABLE concept of maybe trying to turn things off whenever not use.

No, i'll say it one more time because it seems like a the Ponuh Syndrome got to you.
Here it is, are you ready?

"I frankly don't really see myself shutting anything off for any reason..."

Now do me a favor and leave it at that, don't change anything to what you think i mean. I don't care what you or anyone else in here thinks about my personal decision about keeping my electronics on or off.

I shut my lcd off because i dont want an image burn, but that's it.

People have too much pride on the internet. It's like their opinions might as well make up their limbs or something, but if they're that rigid then they're all the easier to hack off and beat you with.

Wouldn't everything be easier if we just infected everyone with Ponuh Syndrome?

Are you kidding? I'd never design something so blatantly stupid. I'm WAY above "bush sux!" jokes!

I saw the commercial with the guy, the train, and the little girl during 24 tonight. I think that's the guy who sings the Snickers song.

Ponuh Syndrome is the best thing in all of God's green earth and you'd realize this if you had it.

Ike are you trying to argue semantics with me with this highly sarcastic and ironic topic?

(see sig)

No, why would you assume that? Your really good at finding an argument in any comment, no matter the subject, and for the most part, your pretty good at making them (if you arent already, I would think you would be a star on the debate team, I'm assuming your highschool has one). I, on the otherhand, don't really like arguing irl or on the internet. I like a conversation. Inteligent or sarcastic. Thats all im trying to do, I'm not very big on making people feel bad about themselves, I know what it feels like to be picked on and made fun of, so I don't do it very often, and if i do, I'm probobly kidding. be a bit deffencive rather than offencive for once man, loosen up.
