I used to see daddy long legs quite a bit when I was a kid. I remember them being relatively harmless so yeah they never bothered me much. I can't say I have seen that many all together at one time though.

lol yeah on its own a daddy longlegs is a joke. As a kid it was pretty normal to find one crawling around on me when I was climbing trees and stuff like that. It never bothered me.

i bet you someone took like a picture of a few daddy long legs and spent 2 days in photoshop to make it appear as hundreds. if i ever saw something like that irl, it'd def make my skin crawl, but a picture can easily be chopped. the thing that makes me skeptical is how it gets more dense towards the bottom, and at the bottom is doesn't even look like spiders anymore, just a patch of black fur, unless they were all rushing out of some opening in the wall at full force i doubt you'd get that kind of effect, and the clump at the bottom just seems to be hanging in midair. were did you get that from? I need to see mroe pics or the descrption of how it occurred or w/e to be truly disgusted.

Those things in the picture aren't actually spiders, they're some kind of pseudo-arachnid that plagues my sister's backyard in the summer. Makes mowing the place an unholy nightmare (and that's ignoring the mountains of dog shit), I loathe them.

Yeah this thing in the pic is known as a "Leiobunum Rotundum" iirc. More commonly called a harvestman but I could have my facts backward (looked it up last summer). I remember inquiring about these to an ls mate who was an animal expert lol. My sister could not stop laughing when I told her the sciency name because she heard it as "layuponem and poundem."
