The rumor is, Keith Richards is supposed to be in the next Pirates film as well.

Yeah I have no recollection of this, but I don't know how that makes him a drunk pirate. lol

I was just talking about those two specific roles as far as drunks go (though its drugs in Fear and Loathing but he acts the same as he does in Pirates... drunk). Crazy people as far as the expression on his face goes, they are all the same to some degree. He is still a great actor, just that Jack Sparrow character bothers me in how close it is to the character he played in Fear and Loathing.

the pirates movies really arent that great, well, the first was pretty solid, it had a begginning middle and end, but the second one seemed to lack pretty much everything. it was very slow, it didnt have a proper beginning and didnt tie in with the ending of the first very well, i was very dissapointed because the second movie really doesnt have any point but as a filler into the third, so im hoping the third was as good as the first.

I sort of forgot everything from the first Pirates movie, so when I watched the second I was a little lost. I'm going to have to watch the first 2 again before seeing the third one. They are pretty solid movies for what they are, just don't expect anything more than a good popcorn flick (action, romance, lots of eye candy/special effects, but nothing really challenging for the brain).

i actualy enjoyed the kracken. he seemed like a nice guy.

leo and matt damon were pretty badass in that movie

Yeah thats a big convention of Shakespearean tragedies. Basically everyone dies near the end. So any book or movie you see where almost all the main characters are killed off in that fashion, they are copying off of Shakespear.
