That is true too, but the disease spreading is more accidental in some cases as you try to portray it. It can easily call for a good portion of the deaths, just due to the fact they had never been exposed and had no treatments for the ailments. You could call it the earliest form of chemical warfare I guess in some of the cases.

Don't people know the main reason we teach history is so that we do not repeat it? If we take all the "bad stuff" out of history, and just give a happy go lucky candy land version of it then what good is its doing. I know my daughter will know her history, even if the schools chose not to teach it.

Well if you read the article the muslims are the people asking to get it taken out of the curriculuum. It is pretty well known that in many muslim nations they teach their kids that the holocaust never happened (Iran's president is just an example).
