umm yea saw it today. Lots of cheesy moments. But overall a good movie. I am however upset with a couple of things.

Guy I Can't agree with you more! I was waiting for him to Say "We" the whole movie. I did like how at one moment he made a shield to stop some of spidermans web shots. But I really wanted him to make like a axe out of his hand and swing or use his tounge to throw spider man. Also Vemon use to just jump from building to building mainly like he did use his web at times but mainly just jumped and he was so small it bugged the hell out of me. If they made Carnage then yes it's how i picture them makeing Carnage but not Vemon.

Also wtf is up with Harry??? come on That new suit he was useing and board was a load of crap to me. If he loved his dad so much then why didn't he want to pay some respect and use his dads suit/make it that brighter Green for hob goblin? Like don't get me wrong the fights were awesome just if your going to to make a Spider man movie you got to add some details not just be like "ok this is how I think harry is going to look" Who cares what the director wants. Make harry how everyone pictures him.

Don't even get me started with Sand man. I think he was a bit more accurate then harry and Vemon put together but I think it was such a Paper Villian. I think Spider man has a million other Villians they could have picked before Sandman. At least like Scorpian or Vulture before Sandman.

Whats with His Emo mode? like He pulls his hair down I yelled "Emo mode on". But I do believe that the Cookie part with that chick that lives in the same building was the best part of the movie haha.

The whole MJ and him break up and when they did talk was the most Relationship retarded things I have ever heard ppl say to each other in my life. I understand Writters wanted it to be interesting by have them break up but that seemed to lame imo. Maybe have Brock get some faked pictures of spider man kissing all these different Girls Also at the same time smitting those as the "Spiderman with his hand in the cookie Jar" pictures. Also makeing peter even more mad and peter exposeing him as makeing fake pics as MJ saw the news papers but never believed it but it wore on her mind and then peter kissed that one Chick (the blonde) at the Spiderman fair then she flips justifing how much she blows up. That would have worked much better I think.

I just think the Paths in the story line they used was good but they could have used some more clever ways of going about it.

It was alright. I think it was the best of the three movies, but they need a new director (someone whos a fanboy please, not someone who states on record they hates Venom).

I want them to do a Stan Lee\Steve Diko style movie. I want the movie to be in the 60s too, not the 90s. Theres tons of over the top campy and awesome stories there. If they did it in a very retro and fun way it could be an awesome homage to the original comics. I wanna see parker dating Betty Brant and avoiding dates with MJ (who he didnt meet for a while in the comics) and getting bullied by Flash Thompson at school.

DUDE THE 2nd one had the most story ever

If I were to critique Spider-Man 3 as if it were a serious film (which I don't think it should be), I'd say that it differs from the first and second movies in the development of the villain(s). While Flint Marko is a character that you're supposed to empathize with, he doesn't really do much except show how inept he is. And Eddie Brock is just so bleh that his character doesn't even go through much of a change once he adopts Venom. Only three characters go through any real change in the entire movie: Harry, Peter, and Mary Jane. And MJ's story is full of "I really don't give a shit" moments like with her singing. And Peter is far less sympathetic in this movie than in the others. While Harry on the other hand, is full of moments that not only redeemed the character, but made him enjoyable to watch (PIE SO GOOD).

Anyway. Spider-Man 3 is entertaining as a summer movie, but I don't think it should be overly analyzed like I just tried to do. lol In the end, it doesn't really matter if Venom said "we" or not. Or if the Sandman was created by a nuclear explosion at a beach or not (ha). It just comes down to, "was this fun to watch?" And yes, it is. Very much so.

Yeah Reinheld is right. These movies are great if you just go expecting a good blockbuster popcorn flick. This movie isnt about to land any oscars, but its well worth the admission price lol.

One of the best parts in the movie was Bruce Campbell playing the Maître d. If they dont put him in Spider-man 4 as Quentin Beck (Mysterio) Im going to be very upset lol. IMO Spider-man 4 should be Spider-man vs The Lizard\Mysterio. IMO they should use one of the original Mysterio story lines. Like when Mysterio makes Parker think hes losing his mind lol.

Saw it in Mexico yesterday. It's hard not to watch the subtitles. The best part was seeing the Shrek 3 preview in spanish and trying to anticipate the jokes so I could laugh too.

But the actual movie was good. Like people are saying, well worth the price of admission (like $2 in Mexico). Generic summer blockbuster.

They had too many villians to develop them all fully as characters. They could have done without Venom or Sandman, Harry was more interesting than both easily. I liked the movie, but just about the same as the others. The whole Peter w/ the symbiote thing was funny but stupid as hell. It again reminded me of how little actual shit talking he does as Spiderman in these movies versus in the comics. The whole Sandman apology thing at the end came off dumb as fuck and awkward. I didn't care that much about the whole "we" and "I" thing as far as Venom goes, I stopped expecting much from these movies after the first one. Just another fun popcorn flick really, which is what all comic book movies have been striving to be anyways.

I somewhat agree with ET. they did have to many villans and were forced to wrap it up quick towards the end. If they haddn't the movie would have easily been 4-5 hours. Over all i found this movie awsome tho. Regardless if it was good or garbage i will always say its sick cuz im a biased prick and its spider-man hahaha

It's funny--despite hating spiderman movies i always feel inclined to see them. This one was the worst one (the first one sucked cause it gave off such a strong power rangers vibe but the third takes the cake). It was so unfocused. It just jumped around and had very little direction. The CGI once again is the worst thing about the franchise as a whole. It's an ambitious thing to do and the end product looks like it's not held down by physical laws. Things need to feel weighted and they don't. This franchise needed to be put to the side for another decade while technology got better.

Yeah I hated the CGI for every spiderman movie. He always put his body in weird shapes and angles when gliding through the air that just made me feel akward. I know he is supposed to be a little agile but damn, something just it didnt feel right.
