The movie "The Labyrinth" with David Bowie scared the living crap out of me. Looking back I cant understand why I was scared, but I dont even think back then I really knew. There was just something about it that creeped me out and made me feel uneasy. Im sure it was probably just the 80s David Bowie.

It was more lame than scary (I think I was the only kid in the 80s that didn't like MJ, I do like the old school Jackson 5 stuff tho, well some songs not all). Unless you knew about his boy fetish ahead of time then I guess I would see why you were scared. :p

To Yarr: Yea it was probably because of David Bowie. HAHAHAHAHA

I can understand being scared of Labyrinth and Dark Crystal as a kid because of the crazy Jim Henson puppets. I will note that I still to this day even though I love Labyrinth feel uneasy during the fire bros. montage.. (i couldn't find it on youtube unfortunately)

but I love the ballroom scene, while some might find it distubring. ON second thought I guess it is kinda bugged out for Jareth (a middle-aged David Bowie in purple tights and scary hair) is trying to seduce Sarah (Jennifer Connolly) who is only supposed to be like 12-14 at the time.

oh and who knew David Bowie actually had a hit/music video for the song during Labyrinth's opening credit's "Underground" ?

oh and Deejay you're totally not alone on being scared by MJ's Thriller as a kid, Shaliza and I have discussed in length how we both watched it's world premier and were mad shook during the crazy yellow eyes GO AWAY! part

This guy scared the SHIT out of me, much to the ridicule of my siblings and parents. I got the last laugh though, because he was recently voted #1 scariest villain in children's stories.

Used to be scared as hell of the nuclear bomb scene in Terminator 2.

I know this is a bit late but my favorite scene from Labyrinth was the M.C. Escher scene when Jennifer Connolly is running after the baby.
