My buddy who works valet with me has been trying to get into the Phoenix fire department for a LONG time now, like 3+ years. Right now he's working almost exclusively as an EMT since he wants more experience with that type of stuff.

Well My everything about my life has changed. I live like every week or month is my last. Last Aug (wow can't believe it's that long ago already) I moved from Ontario Canada to Alberta Canada which is the total opposite sides of the country. Why? I didn't know at all. I went in search of something. After all you only have some many chances in life to move across the country? not many so I took the chance. I made all new friends a moved on my own. I work full time at the moment doing commercial chemical spraying but looking to save up for School. so thats in the process but Everything from when I played FFXI and now is all Different. I'm haveing a total blast too. I went from being so bored every night to not haveing enough time to just lay around. lol

P.S: only games i'm playing atm is Gear of War on Xbox360

Yea, my dad was a fire fighter for about 20 years before going back to school to be a Physician's Assistant (hence why I am now in Kansas instead of back in Illinois). And my Uncle is a fire fighter back home, and is one of the leading instructors in Illinois for Bioterrorism and haz-mat.

I guess I love the life around the fire house, growing up in the fire house and everything. Staying the night at the station and running calls. I loved all that



Yea, I really enjoy the EMT stuff also. I may also finish up all that when I am done w/ my fire science. I know a lot of fire departments are starting to lean towards having fire fighter/paramedics.

I quit FFXI last October, which was pretty soon after I got my first job at a pizza place. Since then I've gotten a job as a janitor/fix broken shit/hop-over-the-fence-to-retrieve-balls-man at the day care that I used to go to. I've also been playing my bass guitar a lot more and smoking a lot of weed. What's interesting is that I always got decent grades, A's and B's, but then I started getting high two years ago, which improved my grades slightly. Since I quit FFXI I've been getting straight A's.

I moved to canada for the summer and work in a fishing village called Tahsis...at the end of a long fucking road to nowhere. We get fresh food shipped in once a week (Fridays)...no cell phone etc.

lol, if I was still playing ff11 I would have trouble starting work at 5am in the mornings like I do here, I'd probably still be in Dynamis or something

I haven't played since June but it feels like such a long time now that I have more free time. I started school on July 14th and I'm going for some computer networking stuff, just to get an AA. I'm playing my guitar more now. Did a little work on my car to try and make it a little nicer for the passengers.
