In eldieme necropolis for bard af2 with a pt of coffer key hunters. We go to the spawn point, i spawn the mobs. We kill the owl guardian, as were about to pull Yim Kulla(or whatever(name of main nm) they de-pop. -.- I only brought one holy flask, have to go back to jeuno. I told them to hunt coffers while they waited, so i go back, get a teleport vahzl and proceed to run back to eldieme. Half way through beaucidine, i get a tell "They are leaving to go to place with key holders. I have no complaints because it was my lack of planning the put me there. So i could just leave and go along my business, but i want to help get their coffers for wasting their time. Right before i zone into eldieme, im kicked from pt.

-.- It was my fault that this happened, but if you are going to kick me for it then you could have told me before i got a teleport. This is just me ranting, feel free to flame me or w/e.

Moral of the Story: God damnit, im only human!!!!

Join the no luck with AF club. All i can say is take it in stride i guess.

I wonder if I should tell you this... but you know that when they depop like that after five minutes there can be only 2 results.

1) they will respawn without needing another holy water ( at least in my experience).

2) you get credit for the quest and will get af when you click on it. This result usually occurs if they despawn while you are fighting. its not a bad idea to pull one and just wait for the others to despawn.

Anyway buy another holy water in case I am wrong but I'd bet gil on you not needing it.

I think if he zoned out of the area he'll need to do the NM's again.

Yes thats true, but he won't need the water again. And he didn't need to leave to begin with was my point.

Yea Atmosphere me and Sigram did Bard AF2 a while back and the NMs depopped on us after killing the main NM and we didn't get the AF the first time. I of course popped the NMs the second time before Yarr was ready (he was tanking as whm). After killing the main NM the second time we both got our AF2 slippers. I was lucky there was another bard there that had the holy water to pop the NMs another time. They were not too difficult overall and I would suggest telling the party to attack one at a time and assist the main tank. As when we did it there was a DRK who kept on attacking a mob right after I had slept it thus making it more difficult as we had to heal him in addition to Yarr.

Well, I think not. We had the Dog link with the owl, but yeah i think you can just kill one. Btw three NMs spawn ;D (I decided to stay away from the one who was being guarded)
