My fraps video which is only like 3 minutes is 500 megs!? Anyone know how to compress these and a good program to use?

you can use programs like VirtualDub to compress movie files.

i was doing an ls event and decided to tape it using fraps:

took a total of 87 fraps videos

each only 30 seconds

each was up to 678mb in size

total of 50gigs of hdd space

you, um....

go under video in menu or hit ctrl P to bring up compression.

Then pick like divx or something and hit configure. Then move the bar for encoding bit rate and hit ok. Then hit ok again.

Then go under fire menu and save as avi or hit F7.

If there's audio, compress that too under the audio menu, you have to pick full prossessing mode 1st tho. I used the MP3 compression.

There's probably more stuff you can do w/ it too, but idk lol

the only compression mode that works is Windows Media Player 9, all the others have errors xD
