just wondering what kayne and you high lvl newbies have to say about it. I've heard stories of 1k+ chi blasts at high levels but not sure how you can pull it off. I know mnd helps it a bit and boost is supposed to make it godly, but how are you breaking 1k?

AF gloves for + boost
Mnd gear I think kayne has +40 or so Mnd maybe like +50
Boost everytime it refreshes until just before the boost effect wears off. Then Chi Blast.


Berserk, Kote, Meat Kabobs and other attack raising items don't raise the damage. Just boost and Mnd.

Ya. We get to hear Kayne be all sad when boost wears when we're doing a popped NM.

so for lower level mnk's, it will be tougher to get high chi blasts because of less mnd base and mnd equipment?

you can get a 600-800 damage boost with just the + boost effectiveness gloves.

Kayne claims haste helps as well, but you'll have to take that up with him.

Ha now it makes scence to me why alot of Mnk's sub whm

Arim its two fold.

1) they don't need provoke for instant aggro when campign NM, and the extra Mnd helps Chi Blast do more damage once you have claim.

2) Stoneskin/blink good for the various Nms with AEs namely Fafnir.

Highest has been 1210 Chi Blast on Kirin with WAR sub (since I'm lazy and WHM is lvl .
