It doesn't bother me. I take a practical stand to Religion. Sort of liek the blurb about the captain. So long as it doesn't hinder accomplishment of the navy's mission, or their readiness to perform thos emissions, it shouldn't be a factor.

Its not like he's allowed to sacrifice goats or anything.

The only thing that makes it a problem really is stories like this one which blow it out of proportion, and never really delve into what being a practicing Satanist actually entails ( I certainly admit I have no idea), and otherwise take the relatively private matter of personal faith and make it a political and mass media issue.
