Princess and I watched this on TV but I totally missed it. I mean, we almost never watch the Musical preformers. Anyway Ashley Simpson had apparently voiced her opinion on people who Lipsync before this happend saying its pathetic and blah blah.

So people think she was setup. I just think its down right funny.

If that was a joke on Ashley Simpson, I'm glad someone did it. It's about time someone made a statement about all the manufactured pop music. I saw Ashley Simpson on MTV, and she is a really bad singer irl. The engineers must have worked magic to make her record sound ok. Score one for true musicians!

That is the most horrible thing I have ever seen. I feel sick just watching it - I would go into hiding and never come out if that happened to me.

AS: I'm totally against it and offended by it. I'm going out to let my real talent show, not to just stand there and dance around. Personally, I'd never lip-synch. It's just not me.

I just saw Ashley Simpson on some live award show on NBC (randomly channel surfing, I swear), and she said the reason she was going to lip-sync on SNL was that she has acid-reflux and lost her voice hours before the show. So it wasn't a joke on her, it was completely intentional and she missed her cue or something, haha.
