I don't think Dionil ever hit 75 Crim. He quit with like, 3 pieces of PLD AF2 that he couldn't wear.

Dionil had like 2 AF2 parts I think. I know he was the first NA to have AF2 but kayne was the First person to have and wear af2 (MNK Legs). Atleast I think thats the case. I was like level 68 (Started going back in March\June I think)

I actually started the game at NA launch, but I didn't hit 75 til end of August. I was a really slow player to start with, I didn't unlock Paladin until the 30th of December (and I did it the day after I got Lv30 -- soloed it spending every penny I had on silent oil and invis powder)

I think I hit 50 PLD by Feburary though, at that point I was told to wait for some friends to catch up to perm with them all, so i stayed 50 PLD for a month til March. March til April the perm was both good and bad, we made like 5k/hour, but we only exped for like 1-2 days a week, and only for like an hour or two because of so many conflicting schedules. It was cool because we could perm to get AF coffers for us all, but then people had to take vacactions and stuff, so those 1-2 days a week became 0 days a week, pissed people off and we split the perm @ 56.

May came, University ended, and I had like 4 months til it started again, so I became an exp machine, decided I had lots of lost exp to make up for. :P I would have liked to have not stopped at Feb and carried on, I could have hit 75 a lot earlier maybe.

But for people who really give a damn about all this, I was intending to write a big "1 year summary" for my 1 year anniversary, which is 1st Nov, I missed halloween because of waiting to import. :P

In the land of the before time, JP and NA co-existed in harmony and helped each other whenever possible.

Then, one day, some faggot, fat ass jp use the "JP" phrase. Then every jp started using it.

Fast forward 6 months later. Ms K and I had some business in a place frequented by limit breakers. There was one gay, fat ass galka killed by a ruby quad. This particular fat ass had the "JP" msg on him. Dispite my warning, Ms K r3 this fat ass and he proceeded to bow like a dog. He then proceed to offer free virutal oral to Ms K ala (*^o^)'.

I guess what i'm trying to say is that the leftover jp group are decendants of assholes and whores.

In my relatively short playing experience (Oct '03 - March '04), I heard quite often about "uber" japanese parties that were so much more efficient than NA parties, 7500 exp per hour and whatnot. I can honestly say that I never experienced a japanese party that was as good as the NA players I surrounded myself with.

Players like whisp, yarr, shiloh, scyth, nippler, mikey, murph & his gang, and a bunch of others whose names I forgot, they already seemed to know more about playing their character correctly than any jpn player I ever partied with. I can remember on many occasions having high hopes that a jpn player was joining us, or when I would get an ultra-rare invite from a jpn party, and then it was always dissappointment when I realized these players aren't nearly as good as my NA friends.

Not that I never met any cool jpn players. My first real encounter was when whisp and I were trying to do our sub-job quest, and a level 60ish WHM helped us out with one of the drops we needed. I was in awe and I thought it was so cool that this guy was taking the time to help us out, and he seemed to honestly enjoy helping us as well. From what I read about current JPN-NA relations, it's sad that it's come to this, but like I've said before, Square should've had the foresight to see it coming.
