Last book finished was The Dark Tower VII (last book in the series)

Currently reading Insomnia (since it deals with The Dark Tower series)

Next one will be Hearts in Atlantis (due to the same reason above plus I'm sure the movie left a lot of stuff out)

I just started The Complete Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and The Canterbury Tales. Holmes is actually way better than I expected. Next on my list is the Divine Comedy. The Inferno was good so I'm forcing myself to read it in its entirety. (And OMG! Scholastic News Bookclub... Member since 1987. Haha.)

Yeah, they're all for school, but myths are fun... and what greater myth than the Trojan War :p

MM, you said you just got done rereading Wheel of Time. dont pick up LotR, read A song of ice and fire series by George R. R. Martin, starting with A Game of Thrones. My friends and i like it better than Wheel of Time so far, 3 books of decent length so far, about 1000 pages each, 4th book due soon

Just Finished: Dude Where's My Country

Currently Reading: Kingdom of Fear (Hunter S. Thompson's self-written autobiography) 'I like this book and I especially like the title. Only a fool or a whore would call it anything else.'

Both great reads.

And Heinlein is a master of the SF arts.

And I'm sure many of you have read it, but anyways, I recommend The Hyperion Series by Dan Simmons.[/img]

A friend of mine got the audio book and let me borrow it. Supposedly, the actual book reads like a textbook and is pretty boring, but the audio book was pretty funny.

Last book read: Everything can be beaten.

This is more of a short story than a book, but it was really good. The main character is a goblin who has the job of smashing all the kittens that come out of a chute, but he gets bored and finds other stuff to smash.
