Get a 2001 S4. Twin Turboed V-6. The newer ones have V-8's but cost a shitload more. Twin Turbo V6 is pretty good too. They're nice, and freaking fast. AWD is awesome too.

Matti is right on the '95 M3. What kinda budget are you looking at? The '95 M3 is the last year with a highly tuneable engine, but mods for BMW's cost a lot. You'd get a CRAPTON of power out of modding a '95 M3, but it would cost a lot.

Nah dude, get an S4 if you can afford one. Or like an Evo or WRX STi or something. Even a newer M3 would be awesome. I'd think the M3's would have the nicest ride and still give you a lot of power and would last you for freaking ever (those engines are like...... yeah they don't break) but and S4 would go faster and be more "rare" and people would think you're cooler driving an S4

hehe... I dont mod car ^^; (I am only looking for a car to commute and still fun to drive on the weekend) I am actually looking for 2 year old or less car... I am driving a TSX atm it's good but I want to shop for another car ^^

I think S4(this year's model) maybe too big of an engine... pricewise I haven't decided it yet... maybe E46(current body) will drop a bit in price when the new one is coming out in May (but I guess I am not going to wait until May)

I went to check out the GT version of Legecy drive is nice but the closing door doesn't sound very solid... maybe it's just that car...

Well the 2004 S4's have V8's.... it's a big engine. but why would it be "too" big? I don't follow.

Definitely look at the M3's though, or if you're really concerned about the size of the engine get a regular A4 or A6.
