Only Fafnir spawned lol, took 10 seconds to render him right in front of me, had to read chat log to see who got claim ;p

For some reason, the more I think about it, it seems that Square never really intended for FFXI to become more than what it started out in Japan. A PS2 MMORPG. I guess as things developed, they had to sort of accomodate for the lack of thought they put into endgame. They probably never expected the game to last for as long as it has in Japan and how long it will last here. Seeing this screenshot just makes me feel like my own personal goals will ever come to fruition in game, esspecially since they're mostly tied with a victory over Nidhogg. Heh.

Rein, I think your Adaman Hauberk might be able to come from some stuff in CoP Sky as well. Dont forget they havent even let us access some of the stuff thats in the game yet. I think Square is starting to try to allow more ways than one to get some of the good items to accomodate NA and JP. Just gotta wait and see what happens.

We used to say that we'd never see a Dalmatica in ls, and never expected Crimson Body either, and we have both of those now. Sometimes you get lucky, it just might take a while Rein. I wouldn't give up hope just yet, cause like Pix said they might add the abjurations to new CoP NMs.

Black Belt is way easier to obtain if you're patient. If you had stuck around you'd probably be 2/3 in terms of items. BB items are also drops from the BC99 battles which are totally winnable at this point. The harder abjurations are not obtained through the new battles. You gave up too quickly on the game in my opinion, granted IRL stuff happened.

The challenge level for obtaining my dream item is daunting, but I'm not going to give up. Victory will just taste all that much sweeter when I do obtain it.. next year. Even though it feels impossible now, and try not to focus on it as something I have to have now, things will work out somehow. I'm happy leading events for the LS and seeing other people getting their dream items. Like Volrath and Shadowstalker.

The way I see it rein is...

I dont see us getting E Abj body from Nidhogg, I see us getting it from a new NM.

Maybe its just wishfull thinking, but I think the last patch was just a first step in cutting down the monopoly people have on HNMs.

Its retarded that Kirin doesnt have all the abj on his loot table. Kirin takes a hell of alot more work to get to and killing than Nidhogg does. Rare items should goto the people who put in lots of work and effort. They shouldnt goto a bunch of assclowns who have no job, school, life and who set their alarms for HNMs

Also, if they want to put stuff like Peacock charm and crap like that into super insane BCNMs... well, they need to put a better version off it as a reward. The Peacock charm BCNM isnt impossible but its alot harder than sitting there with a voke bot .

Ya, I PT'd with Antonn for a couple PTs (like 67-69) when I was catching up again to Peejo and Kailyn, and he was a pretty silent guy. He'd never ever speak English in front of a JP player. He was getting ready to load up his Fakanese.

By the way, if you want to learn how to speak Fakanese, say "w" instead of "lol." It makes you totally authentic Fakanese.

I had fun on sunday camping Adamantoise. That one new Japanese ls (and norsepower) was alot of fun. They were making fun of mikey and everything. If we only had to camp HNMs vs them it would be alot more fun.

i remember my friend told me in AC2 when new limit cap was raised their whole guild camped those items / quest whatever was needed and prevent other people to get it / pass their lv...

also means something like "POWER"

every HNM that is popped by the server not by using items is just luck how NA claims it... cause people who dont live in asia area have a big ping disadvantage or something

therefor non-azn / not in azn ls that live in asia area can never do those things that those people that do live in asia area can do...
i mean you can camp those things 29831823 times and get 1 claim by luck...

so camping those things is just mostly waste of time

thats one of the reasons i've quit =X
