before the game came out i decided i wanted to be an elvaan ranger/thief:

elvaan because, in lore, elvaan are supposed to be good rangers.
ranger because i liked amazon in diablo2 and wanted to kill things from a distance.
thief sub because i wanted to be able to steal like Locke in ffvi, i wanted to flee, and i wanted to have gilfinder to make more money.

as you can probably guess, that idea didn't work. i would duo with Thunderstomp when he was an elvaan whm "Vicrov," and i realized after he died a few times that I needed that warrior move "provoke." so what we decided to do instead was start over, and i'd be whm, and TS would have voke. that worked a lot better.-

before i even got the game i wanted to be a SMN, SMN in every game ever was always my favorite, i loved controlling other things that are insanelly cool looking and powerfull

anyway so i found out SMN is an adavanced job so i was like no prob i'll lvl RDM cause they can do a lil of everything so i lvl'd RDM to like 30, unlocked SMN lvl'd it to like 9 got sick of only haveing the lil radioactive rabbit, lvl'd RDM to like 49 and then OMG evilelf koda werx and 2 other people ( i forget if your one of them im sry) got me avatars !! yay so i lvl'd SMN again , and then i realized... i was hooked on RDM and the rest is history, but NOW i have fenrir and carby mitts and all that shit and SMN is getting insanlly fun so im lvling both ^^

Started as WHM and had to zone back into Sandy on my very first battle (Forest Rabbit), because I knew so little about MMO's that I didn't equip a weapon.

Took WHM up, leveled blm sub along the way and proceeded to take Whm to 75. Since reaching 75 I've leveled five other jobs for subs.

my very first job was a mithra war.. Her name was hedwig and she was on my ex boyfriends acct.... soooo then i got the game and made a hume war.. i lvl'd war to 30... so then i was gna be sam/war...... but i got to yuhtunga... and there were no whm's anywhere.. so i got pissed.. and went right to bastok and started lvling whm...woot..

My brother started a character named Dionisius as a....well I THINK he started it as a red mage but he took it to about 24 then made a taru blm (Ahonpipi) and leveled it to about 8......then quit the game .....so I took over and leveled her to 40 but got tired of that and switched to WHM which got boring so I switched to SMN....which got boring ......then I changed to..umm.....ranger which kind of got boring too.....then I took bard to level 8 but it was sooooo tedious...so THEN I switched to samurai and was kicking butt as a taru SAM when my bf decided on a whim that we should both make new characters.....so I made a mithra (Sniffles) which is by far the most fun race to play....anyways I leveled warrior on her until 30, then I switched to SAM on her and used Ahon's equipment...but at 22, my super-duper damage decreased to like.....well....let's just say VERY low....stupid crabs....but I digress!!! So I switched to ranger again because I was brutalizing the poor crabs with ranged attack unlike with me ol' sword/katana thing and I kicked many a butt with RNG...until, for some reason I cannot recall, I switch to thief....I took that to 54 and became disillusioned after seeing several monks in battle.....but my monk was level 7 and there was NO WAY that I was going to level another job up that far again....so I switched back to warrior and it was rather fun.....however it was kind of sad when those filthy elves started to outdamage me! So I switched back to thief...for one day....then I finally decided to actually level my dream job.....monk......and I've been a monk (and hope to stay one!) ever since



For those of you without the patience to read my rambling it was

RDM > BLM > WHM > SMN > RNG > BRD > SAM > WAR > SAM > RNG > THF > WAR > THF > MNK

I could probably have at least 2 jobs at 75 by now since it's been a year

My first character was a female hum BLM on the siren server >.< My ex made me name the character after her but I eventually grew sick of blowing things up with stone so I deleted the character and made a elvann war. WAR > DRG > SAM > RNG woulda been 75 if the US government didn't decide to send me to some "war" in the middle east. Oh and my ex ended up hating the game so she left

Played WAR to 10 decided I hated it because of no magic (hey it's Final Fantasy...how can you have no magic???). On my son's advice started over as RDM and loved it, although at the low levels it's pretty gimpy. One day running home to Sandy from the dunes some high level rode by me on a choco and said "Stay RDM...at my level we never party without one." I've never looked back and never regretted it. It can get boring in parties but not if you play right because you can do so much good in a party. I was truly convinced of how much I love it when I solo'd the Ruby Quadav NM for my testy as a way to train for Maat battle. I read that recommendation online and thought "No way!" but after I did it a few times I loved my job all over again...and yeah...I beat Maat right after.

From day one, I always wanted to be a RNG. But even so, for some odd reason, I decided to play around with the jobs, see what I liked... I was originally a Hume Male BLM, for about 5 levels, I think... Then I went Mithra, fiddled with RDM for a few levels, then went WAR. Took WAR to 18, got my subjob quest done, then THF to 15... Then went back to WAR, took that to 30, and went RNG. And that was that.
