A couple of things depressed me/pissed me off about FFXI. I'll list them in chronological order, least I'll try.

1. The constant stupidity of parties in Valkrum Dunes for the longest time.... (some things never change)
2. Seeing people /sh for gil and getting it while I worked my ass off farming. Lazy bastards. Gladly I never stooped to begging for gil.
3. LFG with good/appropriate gear for my job and seeing gimped characters with underleveled subs and crap gear getting parties before me.
4. The constant stupidity of parties in Yuhtunga and Yhoatar Jungles.... Dunes version 2 anyone? :x
5. When idiots decided to revolt and leave alderan's kick ass linkshell enemy causing it to be broken shortly after. Thanks alot you pricks :x
6. When my good friend Chronin quit playing
7. Having Dar, Lexy and all those other gil selling fags MPK me everywhere I went (Ordelles/Oztroja etc)... Paybacks a bitch, better watch out when i'm on my "secret character". I learnt some nasty Mandarin comments to reply to them with now. Hey Dar "Qin wode pigu gan ni niang"
8. Having a Friend List mostly full of people who have quit the game.

Thankfully I have had many more good encounters with people than bad, so I still love the game :D

same as Talisin... him and I played Medal of Honor online together a lot before FF and all I talked about was being a SAM... i got SAM to 45 and decided to give it up... ?:[

Everyone complains about the TP nerf... as they should... SE did about the greatest evil, but alot of people are misinformed as to why they did the nerf... It's easy...

Asuran Fists (8 hits) + Relic Knuckles (12 TP per hit) = Unlimited Spamming of Asuran Fists... I've seen it... A pre-nerf 75 MNK killed the Ghost NM in Monastic Cavern for some piece of AF in less than a minute... it was disgusting the amount of power....

SE should have just nerfed the TP given per hit on the relic items... instead they screwed everyone by nerfing all the jobs and keeping the relic items insane TP... This move basically killed Samurai and starting to pound the nails in the coffin of the Dragoon... (Wheeling Thrust buried Dragoon in my opinion)

SE made a bad call on that...

When I borrowed Pitviper my chain mail and he never gave it back....wait forget what I said I was pissed...PIT IF UR READING THIS I WANT MY CHAIN MAIL BACK lol

I cant reall think of anything overtly depressing....it's a game and I have fun 99% of the time ^^. But...when Rakeen quit...that was sad : /

When I hit 56 and saw the exp jump in order to get to the next level *sigh* THAT was depressing.

The first time I went to Qufim. No map, party wouldn't tell me how to get to camp. First battle, elemental nearby, BLM casts. I died on the trip in and died in the first battle so I homeported and left the party. The BLM then started spamming tells at me in extremely foul language. I actually had to ask someone how to blacklist him and he was the first person I ever blacklisted. At level 72 I probably have less than 15 ppl on my blacklist, so I'm a pretty tolerant person. As in life, mean ppl suck and mean ppl are the first and last thing to depress me in this game.
