It's been inactive for like.... 5 months. Is there any way I could get it back?


Good ole' Denchi? I remember whisp got his character back, but it wasn't 5 months after he quit....

Yeah, someone please answer him so we can make a perma.

No it's impossible, don't try. If you call SE they'll start cursing you out and if you ask to get your character restored they'll come sadimize you.

It will be extremely hard denchi. Your account has probably been most likely deleted. You can try but i seriously doupt it. Its been more than 3 months and the time given for reactivation has passed

After 3 months of inactivity, all your data including your cd keys get deleted. No way to get it back. You have to buy a new FFXI client and have to completely start over.
I know it really sucks but that's SE's crappy system and there's no way around it.

Thats not what happened to me. I quit in late july and went back late august for like 2 minutes lol. But i didnt have to buy new game or make a new acc just a new char. Sucks that i canceled my acc 10 min after i made it and stupid SE still charged me >.>

poop. I'll call them. they most likely kept my character because he was so awesome and sexy. really it's the most likely thing to happen so they'll just push a button like *boop* and then he'll be active again. And then I'll have 100,000,000 gil. That's where the true power of the Galka lies, reactivation of the account! w00t w00t!

I quit for 6 months and was not able to reactivate my old character. Also, Whisp never let his account go past 3 months.

dammit, I'm gonna start over then, my jpn friend better give me all my gil back, he doesn't even play anymore. He has like 8,000,000 just sitting around collecting dust

ya, i coulda told you that, you can get your account back, but not your character.

Its pretty fun to start over. I did a bunch of quests to try and get my fame near to what it used to be, and I chose monk to try and lvl to 75. Monk is alot like my old drg in some ways. They are both DoT jobs, they are both good at soloing, ect. The only difference is that I have something to look foward to in endgame, because monk ends up being one of the more powerful DDs. With Drg, I peaked from lvl 49-60, and after that I felt like I was getting weaker and weaker.

I'd say the only bad thing about coming back is that I hardly ever see my old friends. They are always in some place called "sky," whatever that is.

^ Galka Drg's forever! Drg's were awesome for soloing. After I hit 56 though..... it was right around when they nerfed TP, so I just said fuck it and switched to PLD. the TP nerf really... REALLY pissed me off.


Yeah I think it will be pretty fun to start over. I'll have a little financial help, and I just talked to Mancer and he's gonna let me in his small LS, w00t. Mancer's a good guy. I messaged Aximilli but he's MIA I'll probably do a monk, too. I was thinking of switching to a hume or taru, though. Do you think I should stay Galka?

I thought about another race, but it just didn't feel right. I preferred to be recognized for my previous character, so I chose the same galka model and the same name. It's fun to see people you used to know and be able to talk about old times. Plus people will see me and be like "wow I remember you, you were the first galka in drg AF armor I ever saw!" or something like that. I'd say go with a galka again if you want to play with old friends, but if you want a fresh start pick another race (although is you are going monk, can't go wrong with a galka).

One of my goals in this game is make an all-galka party one day.

TS.... I'm down. If I can get some help for MP gear I'd be totally down. I still don't know if anyone of my old friends will help me get on my feet but hellz yeah I'm down for a galka party.
