Cheering on a mob when a group is wiping isn't justification for stealing a mob from them later on. The loot should be returned and a public apology should be posted. God, the future of FFXI scares the shit out of me. lol

There is no reasonable excuse for th actions taken by TTK today. Their use of "'cheer Despot" is honestly retarded. Lyndis, I understand your reasons for doing /cheer and I support you. As a friend, I got your back <3.

I've had a TTK member cheer on a corse that I was soloing once, I guess thats justification for me to follow you guys around and steal one of your HNMs when given the oppurtunity. Seriously, how old are you? like 7? It isnt possible to be any more petty that that.

Hi! I'm fairly new to the board, so I thought I'd identify myself before jumping into the topic.

I'm Kailix (duh) former member of FS and new leader of ZeroEffect. (I didn't get kicked...at least I hope I didn't. ^^; Just dropped the pearls when I joined ZE for fear that two-timing would be seen as unsavory.)

Anyway, I'm really upset that something like this can, and has, happened. I don't know what reputation my LS has among you, if any at all, but mob stealing is against ZE's charter and booting a member without hesitation is the very least I will do.

I have a question though. Is there a way to prevent something like this from happening? I'm not too well-versed in HNMs outside of itty ones like Sim and Serket, and I've only just heard of Despot, but is this unclaiming thing an anomaly or does something set it off?

Sorry for the long post...I'm fairly long-winded. ^^; Thanks for listening. :D

Ya, NMs will go unclaimed at times and weird stuff happens, but most of the time the NMs are returned. To mobs claimed, you have to be ontop of your DoTs.

We did a dynamis pull, slept everything and fought them one by one. One eventually exploded, followed by another killing most of us. Despot popped at the same time, so we grabbed it in a hurry. :D

well to clarify.....I think grim's giving those boots back to FS...I hope he does the right thing. Also regretfully I quit TTK and am just sorta "trying new things" so to speak. I highly doubt I will go back and yes it was stupid actions that were done that smeaered what in my mind was one of the greatest LSs i have ever been a part of. I wasn't even there i know about the whole "u represent what shell you are in" scenario so I did what I thought was right and quit TTK and told them so. It kinda hurts when things go this way no matter what angle.
My next issue is volrath's comment on cheering while "he soloed a corse." I was there with Fattino who I am good buddies with for an item I was going to actually use. I saw volrath (who I did not know) and whisp (who in my mind is 1 impossible to gauge player that i did know) and a thf killing the corses. My cheer was for you guys because I thought you were all doing the same thing. If there was ever another instance of you guys viewing my cheers as a taunt it was never meant in that way. If there was another time you soloed a corse solo and saw a TTK member then it wasn't me. Just some clarification. I personally think the world of Whisp (although he is on hiatus) and Volrath, hell all u guys are an inspiration to ppl like me but also a source of envy and jealousy to others (of which I am sure u alrdy know.)
I wish TTK the best in all that they do although I am not TTK anymore, hopefully they can gain back some respect by doing the right thing. However, as a player, I notice more and more many rivalries exist among LSs not by a consensus of all players in a particualr shell, but because of past feuds with other members or past friends or acquaintances. This in my eyes is kinda BS. Why should anyone be afraid to help someone because they belong to another's LS? Why would you hate someone you do not personnally know. Where would any of us be without help in this game? Last time it took 6 to make a PT. I'm aware of the rules on HNMs and Gods and all issues regarding gil but missions, quests, coffers, AF, dynamis, COP? Today I set an example for what I stood for and I lost a LS because of it, even though I may myself have lost a lot because of it. Personally i think Grimblade and all of TTK are great individuals with incredible talent that wants to lead a LS and "play the game." Incidents like these happen, its not the 1st, nor the last. But I feel that every player must look inside them and ask themselves what they stand for. Where would I be without certain individuals who i am now feuding with if they weren't in my game playing alongside me at 1 time? Was I upset that Fattino left my CoP perma? yes. But not upset enough to not keep talking to him because there are plenty of other times we may need each other's help for (I"m sure i'll need his help more than he'll need mine lol). Its minor bitchings and feuds that make many a ffxi player speak Chinese and camp in Davoi. I know we can't all get along, but everyone really needs to open their eyes for once and realize where they stand. Today I have taken a step in what i elieve to be the right direction......if it leads me left I'll let you guys know ^^

I hope TTK will do the right thing and give the boots back. There are many great players in the LS and if the right people talk about it, I'm sure the right thing will be done.

I find it very ironic that earlier in the evening FS was soooo happy to hear that CKD got KB ahead of IcarusWings and we were applauding your claim, kill and loot. Everyone in FS was happy for you...congratulations.

I think that the NA LS's need that kind of mutual support and good will. Petty b.s. and stealing is not the way we should treat each other. We are stronger together than apart.

Hmmm......I am pretty new is TTK but HNM stealing makes me sick I know there are some cool guys in TTK like Blace, but stealing HNM bleh.....I quit with TTK (it was a secondary ls btw)
