I'm sure I'm not the only geek here who does/has done this before?

It's a distributed computing project to analyze protein folding. Creating synthetic proteins is the key to making new drugs to fight a wide range of diseases, but actually designing these proteins takes thousands of computers or very expensive supercomputer time because of the complex way that they fold in on themselves. You basicly set yourself up for Stanford to use your computing power to "fold" protiens.

i use folding@home, find-a-drug, and prime95 to test system temps and such, used to leave it on all the time, but now its just FFXI on my second screen^^

Prime95 is my OC program. That's the best way to check stability of an OC, just let Prime95 run overnight lol
