naa i don;t think anyone should have to wait till their done with an HNM before Even being able to get a HNM ment for Everyone. So when we wait and Say another LS is Camping it too they have to get in line? no way thats going to happen We seem to be alot more mature about stuff then other LSs are. We ask someone to do use a Favor and it all of a sudden "omg CKD is takeing advange of Everyone run!" thats how it's always blown up.

I find it funny that one of the reasons given that we can't get the claim on HNM's is that we aren't a strickly HNM LS... yeah, starting a new pearl that is only used for HNM's is REALLY going to make a difference... It isn't our fault that we do things fun together that doesn't have to do with gaining wealth, gil or uber gear... I guarantee that if we had been getting claims on HNM's over KFC consistantly everyday that 50% or more of that LS would be in another LS because its not like their even friends but when you can constantly line your LS mates pockets with gil, items and gear it keeps everyone happy.

At least Arthar's has the guts to come here and post his opinion, none of the other members want to reveal that they can speak or even understand english... All I have to say is for KFC to put themselves in our shoes. Imagine trying to camp the 3 kings for 5-6 months, and consistantly getting beat in the provoke by another LS. Then having to watch that LS get the best gear in the game for each and every one of their members while you wait in the wings for you oppurtunity. Then, dispite seeing that said LS in what has to be the best gear possible, you have to watch as the same group continue to show up at the same spawns each and everyday and continue to outpull you. You win maybe 1 out of 20 provoke contests if your lucky and start to question if it is worth sitting in an area for 3 hours to watch that same LS win and have to sit and watch as they kill the mob for the 500th time.

You have no clue how that feels... it sucks to watch those that I consider friends and respect very much get no opportunity to get that "dream gear" that they want so badly... Kayne won his Black Belt finally and you should have heard the cheers we had for that occasion. When a member in KFC gets the Black Belt items I bet it isn't even a call for a Congratulations... I'd love to know how many Abjuration and Black Belt items you simply toss out as "junk" when none of our member have even seen or would make that persons year just to get the chance to win.

I'm very passionate about this subject, cause I hate seeing those I respect get screwed over by greedy jerks. Last thing then I have to sleep, (You know what that is right?) I will not accuse your LS of cheating or botting without complete and utter admission or infallable proof. Just know this, following around certain members of your at Adamantoise, I have seen a pattern of many of them standing in random spots then swarming the spawn point 10-15 seconds before the spawn. That is either cheating or extraordinary luck... Not to mention the Chainspell Dia crap 4 times while camping Behemoth. No one is that lucky and you know it...

i can understand a bit i think not really eye to eye cause ive never camped an HNM to lose it 10-100 times by the same LS but the way i look @ it id : you guys are both HNM ls's when you guys decided to do so you entered there play ground or vice versa who ever was there first. And if they want to get up @ 5Am to play a game let them do so. but if you really want the items as bad as they do then you'd do the same i guess dont flame CKD members but if you will im ready!~

It's definately their peroggative to get up at 1am, camp an NM for 3 hours, sleep for 2 hours, wake up and run to Behemoth's Dominion, camp for 3 more hours, rest their eyes for 30 minutes, just in time to run to dragon's aery for another 3 hours of camping... meanwhile they wonder why their lives suck and they take all their anger out on people they'll never meet in real life. I just want them to know how sad this "lifestyle", or lack thereof, is...

A lot of them don't seem to understand we like to fight this shit for the fun of it as well or to help other people out. I think something like 12 out of 18 of us yesterday had no reason to be at Fafnir but everyone in the LS still showed up to help out.

We fight this stuff mostly for fun, and yes, sometimes for items, but 99% of the time it's for an item for someone else.

I'm pretty sure something like Fafnir/Nidhogg must seem dull after the 100th kill with the same exact setup everytime... which is something I'd have to say would suck seeing as the fight no longer becomes fun or challenging but just a 1-2 hour (depending on what one pops) wait for the treasure chest icon to appear on your alliance window.

I've said it before: it's too bad this game would never work with EQ rules due to the NA vs JP/HK bullshit. (In EQ, since all the top guilds communicated with each other, at least on my server, we would set dates on which each guild would have a crack at a "HNM" that popped. It worked very well, because then noone would whore the mobs and if, for some reason, a guild took the mob on a day they weren't supposed to and knew they were doing so, they usually got a shitty reputation and would never be respected again. Two reasons I don't see this working in FFXI is because the people that started playing before us got used to the whole "don't help anyone out that has a HNM claimed until the HNM is dead or they die, then you can raise them and look good" system, and because of the language barrier issue, although it seems that most people that play can understand some English.)

I'd like to know why Micro was trying to MPK us for no apparent reason, too. The only thing I can think of was that they were having a temper tantrum over losing both the Adamantoise and Behemoth pulls the same day we got Fafnir. All I can say to that is "suck it up," because now they got 1/365th of the taste of what we go through every damn day of the 1+ years since we reached a high enough level to take these things down.

KFC had absolutely no reason to try to get Fafnir to spike flail us and wipe us all, especially when we gave Fafnir back when we both got the pull at the same time but KFC cried for us to give up the claim, so we did (this happened the last time we camped against them at Fafnir, not this time). I guarantee you that if it was claimed to KFC but hitting us, they would have fought it anyway.

Another thing I've noticed is that some of their members act all nice when they get what they want (i.e. getting a pull and the kill on a HNM), but when situations happen like yesterday where they get a feel for what it's like to waste 3 hours or more just to watch someone else kill a HNM you went for, they get all pissy. Because of this, I've also learned not to take what they say seriously, since they say one thing but do another constantly (i.e. when a member of KFC told me they were just at turtle to get the timer, but claimed it and killed it in front of my face anyway telling me that they had no choice).

I love when they bring 4 people to turtle camp and they are like "oh we are just getting timer" but they go out and manage to be in the right place at the right time vs 18 of us. They claim it, hold it waiting for more people then kill it.
