Wow, I'm glad this thread took off like it did. lol I figured it would die out with like 2 responses.

Cyn, I find the first paragraph of yor description to be fitting toward your personality the most, at least from our chats.

And yeah, Zodiac signs don't necessarily have to fit in when describing your personality. What aspects of your personality made you choose your job outside of the ones described on the astrology-online.com or where ever else?

RDM seemed the busiest for me, and still to this day I get really bored playing any other job but.

Wow, so many Geminis. I am one as well, RDM is level 2 (i won some fights while trying to bloodport). I have always liked to "protect" ppl. I am very protective of my friends and I dont let anyone walk over them, both in-game and irl. So tanking has always been my mind set. PLD and NIN for the obvious, THF for special occasion tanking... Never liked playing mage types but it seems like you need to have at least one to get recongnized in this game. However, if I HAD to choose a mage job, it would be RDM... coincidence.... *shrug*

In regards to your job, I think about it this way, and I use Cecil from FFIV as my point of reference.

Despite being taught "the way of the dark sword," Cecil always attempted to be diplomatic. He pleaded with the King of Baron to stop the crimes against mysdians. He attempted to save Rydia from the village of mist despite Kain wanting to kill her for being a summoner. However it seemed like he was lead easily astray, or caved in and just went with what was acceptable- conventional thinking, basically.

Also, it seemed like he was content to be alone as a dark knight despite his love for Rosa, and sometimes he needed that affection. Getting the sand ruby for rosa's sickness in the village of kairo(sp?) proved that. His friendships with Kain and Rosa were very dear to him. After he became a PLD he became even more protective of the people around him, including his own brother, Golbez.

I'm not saying every DRK wants to be a PLD, that's just the story of the game. I think the comparison fits pretty well, though, and it matches up certain aspects of the astrological sign as well. DRK are often ostentatious or brash, often saying "omg I just did 9832748923 damage with spiral hell!", and they are also extremely tempremental. Despite their changes in personality there's always one consistency, they still remain true/loyal to the people they hold dear.

As far as your own personality Rein, I believe your forum title was "Hopeless Romantic" at one point, was it not? ;p

Libra...balance...that's my sign and seemed more suited to the hume/Red Mage balance thing to me than Gemini, until I read that web site description. Ah well.

But along these lines...somewhere about mid-game I realized nearly all of my best buds are BLMs, and most taru BLMs. And all of them have a certain um...searching for the right word here...attitude, or something...come on you know what I mean...
