GM's are crap but they do serve some purpose. On the other hand FFXI is insanely racist. You cant say its not. It inherently favors JP gamers because that is where it was released and they were the 1st to begin playing. They may devise clever walls of shit to hide behind so you think they are doing something but I never once saw an update or anything that favored both gamers.

Its sad really. Cause FFXI was an awesome game before you began to understand it didnt like you. I remember loving the game up until lvl 50ish. Then it started to become more of a chore because you had to fight upstream against the japanese dominated market. Had they tried to counter the gil selling and such before it hit hard they could have saved the economy also.

The thing is, no one is quitting no matter how badly they are wronged, so my true judegement is, if the GM had enough evidence (posted fraps etc.etc.), then if the GM took the harness from Miss and did the right thing I really doubt Miss would quit and then let that player bitch, it would also set attitudes and policies straight in-game as well as IRL that you can't get away with screwing people over. It makes me wonder how many of these players with their attitudes do some of the things in-game that could also be attribued to real life. The behavior of some of these ppl is not being modified in a positive manner which could have serious repercussions later. I propose SE do something about this, I'm frankly tired of it. Out of all the things I wanted from SE in-game was the following.

#1 a seek PT system where you could seek PT while in a PT, however it was the PT ldrs choice as to whether you could seek. This could allow a player to seek while dicking around, skilling up, being bored as well as save time.

#2 That BCNM 99 Kindred Seals mobs would drop abjs.

Just as dynamis has a 72 hour lockout, a integrated system where if you were assisting or helping to kill a HNM (particularly one of the land kings) then you would not be able to touch the HNM for 72 hours. a system where no matter what you did, whether it aggroed you or not, you couldn't engage it, this would give a lot of players a chance at these instead of monopoly. It would also decrease the chance at yellow steals.


Just my thoughts, I mean I would really like a GM to post because IMO I don't think they do jack sh*t. In this game GM's handle abnormalities (like getting players unstuck but they don't "Police" as much as they should.

GMs suck, they dont do shit- only time a GM helped me out ever is to decide what looked better on me - the Blue Cotehardie or SH... and that was cuz i got put in jail for Mting a FU DICKHEAD at a buddy of mine to a jackass =_=

They are the police -_-. Every community needs law enforcement and thats their role. If people harass you they should stop it, if people steal from you they should stop it. Sad thing is they are like NY cops. They loaf around and get paid to tell you its all under investigation which in cop talk means- "we are gonna stop by 7-11 and get donuts and talk about you".
