Just as an update, it seems that this scythe is real. And that Catastrophe does about 1100 DMG at 100-300 TP w/o SA. But 1400 with SA. The WS also drains the mob, and heals the DRK for about 25% of his HP while adding Haste to his attacks. In general, it hits for 150-500 DMG per swing with WAR sub.

No way. Heh. Unlike many JP players, I don't have gil to burn. Fuck I can't even get Adaman Hauberk, let alone the best weapon in the game.

Well Adaman Hauberk will come in due time. Stick with it Rein. But unlike Abj from Nihdogg, the final weapon seems easier to obtain as long as you have the gil for it. Once you have the gil, you can host your own raids and get all the currency. If you had enough gil, you could get the final weapon in like 4-5 months if you hosted a raid once or twice a week and defaulted all currecy to yourself. It would take like 2 raids at the most to get thru 1st stage currency. 6 raids at the most for 2nd stage. and 22 raids at the most for 3rd stage. So to get to stage 4, i estimate 30 raids (30 mil) All that is based on if you get ~300 single currencies a raid. I know its a little farfetched now and maybe I am putting too much thought into it but... w/e.

What does that have to do with Dynamis? And I dont think Ifrit has anymore HNMLSs than any other server.


A server having less players than another has a cumulative effect on things like the economy down to the smaller things like crowded experience camps. Having more Dynamis ready players would also mean it'd be harder to spread around currency (or earn enough currency) to upgrade weapons. To limit the amount of dynamic (as opposed to static, or consistent participants) Dynamis players public raids would turn private to focus on certain goals (sound familiar?). Although I don't really know the situation on other servers, so I can't say for sure. I hear other servers have it worse, and others have it better.

I think we are well off having English speak people doing these things on our server. In the long run it gives us a better chance, honestly.
