Even though Hitler is a big deal and to some extent i did think
of him when it comes to this subject. When i think of hitler,
i'm no history person, and therefore my history knowledge
is very poor, but of what i can remember, hitler was a spoksman,
in other words, he used the most powerful tool which was
his leadership and convincing/speaking skills to brainwash
his troops (please correct me if i'm worng). Indeed its a real
disaster his doings. But in my head, it seems like he wouldnt
be the only one to blame on, though it was his own thoughts
and his own ideas, he wasnt in it all alone. When it comes
down to it, most of the people involved in with hitler shared
the same thoughts, which is a sad thing.
But where i'm trying to get to is another big event not so long
ago. Involving 90%+ civilian casualties, let me put some numbers
down before i get to my point.

December 7, 1941 the japanese attack pearl harbor without
prior diplomatic formalities, around 2500 americans were
killed in this unfair raid.

August 6th, 1945 a US B-29 Heavy bomber dropped the
first Atom bomb in Hiroshima, JP. 66,000 people were killed,
and 69,000 injured. No prior diplomatic formalities.
This bomb was first tested in New Mexico on July 16, 1945.

In August 9, 1945 another B-29 Heavy bomber drops another
bomb on the industrial area of Nagasaki, killing 39,000 people,
and injuring 25,000.

These could have been stopped, if the US president/General had
brough japanese generals to the bomb test site and showed how
powerful the destruction could be, I'm sure the japanese wouldnt
be stupid enough to ignore the facts. The US chose to not even
tell the american people of what their plans were.
According to my resources, Hiroshima had 135,000 casualties
out of its 255,000 population (50%+) and Nagasaki had
64,000 casualties out of its 195,000 pupulation.
95%+ of total casualties, were civilian casualties.

My numbers could be off a little, but if it is mistaken, its not
by much at all. These are facts taken from the Yale University
resources site (http://www.yale.edu/) and from the department
of Navy, Naval historical center (http://www.history.navy.mil/).
These are both US sites, i'm sure the japanese have different
statistics and facts with greater numbers of casualties.
But these should be scarry enough.

If there was one thing i could to about this and i was able to
go back to the past, i would without a doubt change the outcome
not only from the Bombings in Japan, but i'd change the raid in
Pearl Harbor.

Excuse my typo's and if in any case i misled any information.

First of all, I am not a Christian and I do not even know if I am a theist...
but if i were to go back to history... I would go back to see for myself if Jesus of Nazarath was real, and if he was really as the bible described him. And change the bible to be a real reflection of who he is and what he did (and not just a half fiction)

As much as Hitler played a big role in our last world war.. i think (if i remember correctly) Jesus was still the most influential person in shaping human history... and the Bible is still the most read book in the world :(

I don't know that I would change anything. I think everything, good or bad, happens for a reason.
